The Retro-Style Indie Adventure.

Resonance, a point-and-click that mixes classic adventure with twists and unique ideas, is available for digital pre-order exclusively on GOG.com for only $8.99--that’s 10% off the full price, only during preorders!

Resonance is an atmospheric sci-fi adventure in which four characters try to find a dead particle physicist’s hidden vault and prevent the new terrifying technology he’s discovered from getting into the hands of a dangerous organization. We’re not going to spoil the story for you, but the lives of four regular people you will control become entangled in a gripping thriller adventure. The classic point-and-click interface is accompanied by a unique long-term and short-term memory system, which allows to “collect” memories and use them to solve puzzles or start conversations and--in effect--rearrange the storyline.

Resonance features wonderful retro 2D pixel-art graphics, a riveting storyline, original soundtrack, professional voice actors, intuitive interface, and four playable and memorable characters. The game is available for pre-order on GOG.com starting today and will be released on the 19th of June. Until then, Resonance is available with a 10% discount and immediate access to all the goodies GOG.com has gathered for our users, including desktop wallpapers, avatars, a digital poster (suitable for printing), the game’s MP3 soundtrack, and video developer diaries.

If you’re not sure if you want to get Resonance exclusively on GOG.com for only $8.99 watch the video and try to hold back from adding this indie gem to your cart.

JudasIscariot: Hi. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a box picture for the GOG Wiki page for your game?

TheJoe: We always use the GOG boxart on the Wiki, which is easy enough to get. In fact, I've just added it now.
Thanks, Joe.

OK Vince no need for the box art now :D.
Guys guys guys!

It's the digital pre-order that's exclusive, not the game.

GOG is the only place you can pre-order the digital version.

I just wanted to make sure this whole thing didn't explode into a "GOG has been betrayed! The developers are bastards!" Botanicula type of situation. ;)

I see .
This exclusive digital preorder is very cool, there are nice bonuses (including a soundtrack) and 10% off - what's not to like? :)

Hey guys, just to clarify the "exclusivity" of the game. I saw the whole Botanicula thing and we don't want any of that! (No upcoming bundle plans, promise!)

Resonance will be released on June 19th as a digital download on GoG, WadjetEyeGames.com, and Steam for $9.99.

GoG has the exclusive digital preorder with bonus content for 10% off.
WadjetEye has the exclusive physical boxed copy preorder for $24.99.

The extra goodies like the soundtrack, wallpapers, developer diaries (from me!) etc. will be exclusive to GoG, though some of them are included in the boxed copy as well.

Ordering from GoG or Wadjet gets you a DRM-free copy.

After the preorder period is over, the price will go back up to $9.99, so get it while it's hot!
Hell yeah, more from Wadjet Eye Games please!
This is most promising adventure game i've seen in years!
Sound interesting, though 'only' 10% off for pre-orders seems kinda weird.

Pre-ordered anyway. Downloading the Bonus Content as I type....:)
I LOVE Wadjet Eye. Pre-ordered, cannot wait for the release! :)

Danaroth: That said, those are two features I hate in adventure games, because if there are alternative solutions I feel like I'm missing out on content and I don't want hints until I specifically ask for them.

Is there a way to disable these features? Or at least is there some way to notify me if there is an alternative solution and a way to not trigger the hint dialogue until I want?
The hints are more reminders/recaps than "I'm stuck like a chuck, where should I click next". So if you're not stuck, you're not going to get spoiled.

Alternate solutions are not branching out arbitrarily, and there isn't an easy mode/hard mode divide. There are choices between cinematic and practical, elegant and brute-force - but all of them are conscious choices. Resonance won't pull a KQ6-esque "I solved puzzle 2 before puzzle 1, and my correct solution to an unrelated puzzle 3 doesn't work just because" on you.
Looking forward to this a lot. Soundtrack sounds amazing as well.
If Wadjet Eye puts Resonance in an indie bundle on release day....

Thanks a lot; definitely cleared all my doubts. Good luck with the release and hope this will be a big hit.
