Homo ex machina.

Primordia, a post-apocalyptic classic 2D adventure from the publisher of Resonance and Blackwell Bundle, is available for pre-order right now 20% off for $7.99. Pre-order and download the playable preview of the game two weeks before the release!

Mankind is no more. There is only the Book of Man, which Horatio studies patiently every day. Horatio Nullbuilt version 5 studies the Book of Man the Creator when he's not fixing the UNNIC ship. Or is not sparring with his robot friend Crispin Horatiobuilt, which Horatio built. Or when he's attacked and deprived of the ship's power core. Especially then. Horatio will set on a journey through the desert wasteland and beyond to find the missing part and to find a little bit more about himself, his creators, and the humanless robo-world Primordia.

You know what to expect from Primordia if you're familiar with other adventures from Wadjet Eye Games--wonderfully pixelated graphics, challenging puzzles, excellent voice-acting (Logan Cunningham of Bastion fame voicing the main character), soundtrack, and, what's most important, the spirit of classic point-and-clicks made in the early '90s. Primordia takes a little from Machinarium (robot hero and robo-world) and Beneath a Steel Sky (cyberpunk and a sarcastic robo-sidekick) but adds its own religion and mythology, that are brilliant to discover.

Pick up Primordia right now for only $7.99 and get access to all the available goodies including soundtrack, artworks, wallpapers, and playable preview of the game. Primordia will be released on the 5th of December 2012.
With respect to the indie developers and what they are trying to accomplish I recomend more demo's like the trial demo Defender's Quest put out. That was what convinced me that the game was worth it

Primordia is made in AGS, so it won't run on an iPad just yet, not to mention in a browser window. There'll be a free downloadable demo eventually on the publisher's site.
Why not have the preview first so that we can then decide if we want to preorder?
I mean i love AGS/Wadyet Eye Games - but still...what about try before you buy?

Export: Just pre-ordered it. Though I hope when they say it takes a little from BASS, they're not referring to the sagging, aimless central act and the sometimes awfully designed puzzles.
I'm pretty sure they're referring to the art style and setting of the game. The screenshots and trailer reminded me of BASS immediately. Game play wise it'll probably be a lot like other Wadjet Eye games. Which is sometimes pretty clever and sometimes very much trial and error. Actually that pretty much describes the game play from BASS rather nicely, so perhaps they ARE referring to how the puzzles are designed...
is there going to be a demo, they had for resonance, plus too many adventure games dont kna if i will have time for it
New Adventure? Insta- preordered :)

Buy the game to determine if you want to buy the game?
Pre-ordered it already on Wadjeteye`s site. Still, it is good to see the game has made it here.
It was pretty much a given this would pop up here, and I'm so very much interested! If my initial impressions are correct this may rival Gemini Rue, which is my favorite of theirs. Looking forward to it. :)

Those devious indie devs. ;) Once again (as was the case with Resonance), I'm not going to bother playing Primordia until release day.

To be honest, perfect game. Well done Wadjet Eye.
Wow, this looks awesome. I just wish Wadjet Eye Games would update their graphics a bit. If I want to go back to the old Monkey Island-ish style I'll play those old games. Still, it certainly won't keep me from buying this and it certainly looks like a good game graphic and story wise, just hoping they'd modernise appearance a bit.
❤ the music of the trailer
I'm not a big fan of adventure games but everything about this one amazes me. I'm actually considering to pre-order it.

Theta_Sigma: I want this, but I gotta wait to see if Dave has any GOG keys to give out with the box'd purchase. But, I have to admit it's rather tempting to buy the GOG version just so I can play that sweet, sweet demo now! >.> Damn you self control!

Export: Well I know you get Steam keys if you buy directly from Wadjet Eye, as well as obviously giving more money to the people that actually made the game.
True, though I remember Dave offering keys for either when you purchased Resonance. Which is why I was unsure. Hopefully, but either way I get my disc copy, so I'm happy as a clam. ^_^ But still, ME WANTY! -grabby hands-
