bevinator: Out of curiosity, why is first-person a no-sell for you?

wormholewizards: If my memory serves right, he has sickness related to first person view game.
That's the one. Except, I'm not the only person who gets it, it turns out a lot of people do (though from other examples I've heard, it seems I get it worse than most). I don't see why developers don't just add an optional third person view to this sort of stuff, it doesn't seem like it would be a massive amount of extra work on the scale of things.

Sorry, didn't mean to derail the thread. As I said, I'm just jealous as it looks like a great game and I wish I could play it.

In case of that game they would have to make models for main characters and animations for them. It would be a lot of work for an indie dev.
woah, this is unexpected.
Hey, what's that above his head to the left? GOG! :D
"Minimum system requirements: OS: Windows XP Service Pack 3 Processor: Dual Core 2GHz Intel or 2.8GHz AMD Memory: 2GB Graphics: ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 or better (512MB graphics memory or more. Shader Model 3.0 needs to be supported). Minimum supported resolutions 1280x720 and 1024x768. DirectX 9.0c Disk Space: 1GB"

Dual Core 2 Ghz or 2.8 Ghz Amd (i assume single core) And 1GB diskspace.
Might be just me, but dont specs seem a bit high for what basically is a dungeon crawl (albeit with really nice graphics)?. 1GB HD space - must be using some super compression ?.
Not that im knocking it. Just seemed odd to me imho when i looked at requirements

Never heard of this game before, but was kind of curious. Watched the gameplay video. Pre-ordering right now.

Where did this come from?! I'm still recovering from what I saw minutes ago.
Absolutely amazing.

*sniff*
I want to play it today :[

Consider the number of models and character animations in the game anyway - I don't see that doing one extra set would be a big deal.

Edit: I do realise that if there are multiple classes it's not just one extra set, but still.....

Merchito: Just a small gripe, there...
GOG, how comes you let people give stars and reviews for this game, when you know that none of the potential reviewers have played the game yet? Frankly, I find it bordering with dishonesty to have this game, as promising as it may be, given five highly promotional stars by enthusiastic kids who can't hold their horses.
(Note that I'm enthusiastic too, and have pre-ordered the game already.)
I've added wish to the list regarding this Disable reviews on preorders, please vote!

I totally agree; this could become a big problem if you allow warrant-less ratings before a game is even released.
Good God!
Dungeon Master was my first game ever and you'll never forget your first love.
A new Dungeon Master, DRM free at such a low price. I must be dreaming.
This has to be the quickest instabuy, I made in my whole life.

46 reviews? Really? Morons...
Wow I'm really on the fence about this. On the one hand I have too much backlog to justify spending $12 on a game (seriously, I have enough games to last me probably for the rest of my life right now). On the other hand it seems like a genuinely good game and the developers have been pretty awesome too, and I wouldn't mind supporting them.

I'll think about it a bit more I guess.

Good idea, voted.

On a second thought we need voting and reviews disabled only for previously unreleased games.
