Hell yeah, I'll bite. This looks exactly like what I want from a dungeon crawler.
This game looks rly promising, good old dungeon crawler with nowday graphic, what can go wrong? Shame that i'm short on cash this month :|

grviper: 46 reviews? Really? Morons...
Yeah that's really incredibly stupid...to be honest I find it mildly nauseating.
The good news at least though is "disable reviews on pre-orders" is listed as " in progress" on the requested site features page

jeffreydean1: Preordered from here AND from the devs. Just because I'm that crazy and want more games like this. Was expecting to shell out 20+ dollars for this sucker anyway so don;t mind paying twice.

I've been following this game for over half a year now with updates every week and I am SO excited to play it!
Great attitude. I hope that you enjoy it.
I think I'll need it. Soon.

Maybe they're all written by beta-testers?

Nah.

reklan: reminds me of one of my alltime favs..Dungeon Master on the Atari ST...
Oh rly? And I thought I was the only one... ;)

I was so pumped up to get my hands on Dungeon Master (Amiga) as a kid that I asked my big brother, who was at that point in US as an exchange student (or maybe it was after his student year, when he was re-visiting his American "family"), to buy and send it to me from there as it wasn't released in Europe yet.

He was unable to locate it though, it seems Amiga was quite unknown in US because he couldn't find any stores selling their games, I think. That was in Anaheim or was it San Diego.

I bought it later when it finally arrived here, loved every minute of it and I don't think I played many other (Amiga) games until I had completed it.

Hmmm, should I preorder this "Dungeon Mastery" as well, just for old times' sake.

Preordered:) Have been waiting for this for a loong time

DelusionsBeta: As for this game. if I'm going to pre-order it I'll probably buy direct. DRM-free installer + Steam key + same location as all my Humble Bundles + all the extras too + developer gets more of my money is a convincing argument, methinks.
I think "buy direct" = only Steam key, no DRM-free installer to download.

edit: my mistake, you was right it seems.

gyokzoli: I preordered it from the dev's page since I want Steam achievements, but I will also buy it here as soon as I have some extra money.

ne_zavarj: Can you explain what's so special about Steam achievements ? Beside the size of the e-penis ?
This is exactly how I feel about achievements.. when you get 'achievements' for starting the game, and following a linear path, you can pretty much be assured that achievements add nothing of worth to a games value.

This game looks pretty awesome. Pity, it has such high system requirements. So it won't run on my machine... :(
Woo-hoo! Thank you, GOG, thanky you, Almost Human! :)

I might not even be able to run the game with my current video card, but at $12 for a DRM-free copy (including bonus content) it's a good investment in the future and a cause well worth supporting!

PS:
Anyone who thinks $12 is too expensive for such a game, you should keep in mind this is a completely NEW day-one release by an indie developer and I bet a lot of effort has gone into it. It's not a recycled license to get the publisher some more pocket change, it's something the devs hope to make a living off. If you think new indie games are only worth the price of an indie bundle nowadays, you must be nuts. Or maybe these games just aren't for you, which is fine. Personally I've been looking forward to this release for some time and I think $12 for a GOG version of it is dirt cheap and very good news.

This is what a developer replied about a user asking info about the standalone installer that come with the game bought on the official site.
"It's the same version GOG sells."

So what's the point in buying it on GOG if the other one is the same plus steam key plus more money to developer? They aren't doing a good publicity to GOG.
I must admit I didn't know about this game until today, but checked out their website and trailer and it looks rather cool. Pre-ordered.

Might it not be the other way around, or at least go both ways? I suspect more people might know about and frequent gog than the developers blog.
