Dangerous developments in the dumpsters of disorder.

Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia, the extravagant sequel anticipated by the fans of the cartoony point-and-click delight that was Deponia, is available for digital pre-order on GOG.com for only $13.99--that’s 30% off the full price, only during pre-orders! Or, if you’re the completionist type, you can even get both the original game and the sequel packed together with an amazing 40% discount!

The game picks up the story more or less where the previous game has ended. Once again we join the big-mouthed smartass Rufus and Goal, his love interest from the higher spheres of the planet, on their exciting journey through the landscapes of the trash-covered planet. After just recently saving the world from certain doom, our characters would seem to deserve some kind of a closure and a little time off, but the story forces them to take action against even more ominous menace threatening Deponia. And just to make things worse, Goal faces a serious identity crisis. It's not that she's not entirely herself, no. There's just much more of her then usual. Yup, it’s that serious!

Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia brings back everything you loved about the first game and then it raises the bar even more. It's all there--the clever puzzles, the beautiful cartoony graphics, the top-notch voice acting, the brilliant humor, and the outstanding characters--but this time, it all feels even more vivid! You'll feel invested in the story and the protagonists as you explore the trash-covered world on the edge of chaos. Point-and-click adventurers, puzzle solvers, comedy fans! Don't miss out on this wonderful journey!

Pre-order Deponia 2: Chaos on Deponia now on GOG.com for only $13.99--that's 30% off the regular price--and prepare for yet another crazy ride across the Deponian junkyards. Or you can grab both Deponia games at once for a whopping 40% discount!
Looked awesome at first, but to me this release is actually a big letdown compared to the Deponia release. I bought Part One of the series from GOG because I wanted to applaud the multi-language support and I assumed the following installments would be sold under similar condition. Now I have to swallow that Part Two is only available here in English translation? I really hope the original German version will be added to the package at some point, because as long as that doesn't happen, I won't buy it, and now I kind of regret blindly buying the first chapter of an unfinished series here. :(

No German language :-(

This is such a good deal and I would love to finally play the games... but without German language I won't buy it here on GOG.

Can someone at least explain why some of your releases have multi language support and others don't? And they are from the very same developer...
In the case of "The whispered World" Steam even got the additional languages and gog does not :-(
Daedalic confirmed, that a german language pack for Deponia 2 will be available: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/release_deponia/post96

Nice! An instant buy for me now :-)

Thanks for the link! That's reassuring, even if such a statement is no guarantee, especially since it was posted before the pre-order; I'd really like to hear something official on why the game page just lists "English" as game language then. Is it to keep German- and Russian-speaking players from buying the game here with a pre-order discount? *confused*

N0x0ss: Why the Chichkebab would Desponia 2 be available for Mac and not the first one ???? Am I missing the 1st one one the mac list ? Or is it too late to reprogram it ??
It's good to see that I'm not the only one to notice this. The Steam version does Mac/PC, their own website does PC ONLY (with a Creditcardenkraustflagen-page straight from 1992). It's all terribly confusing.
Great game from great developer.
Played Deponia recently. Awesome game.

Deponia 2 will be a 'must buy' sometime before the end of the year.

Thanks GOG :)
Have the first game and thats an Awesome game.
Will pick up this as well, but i think il have to wait untill next month and sadly that will be when the promo/preorder is over.
Oh well. i guess GoG and Daedelic will get more money then since im paying the full price then, unless there will be some kind of offer on it close to x-mas, so maybe i shoud wait untill then...

Hmm.......
I loved the first game and I so want to preorder it BUT I like to play games in their original form so this is vitaly important to me:

Will you include the original German language like in the first game?

If yes, it's a instapreorder!

Yes, they will. Already answered in Post 33.

The first game was great, a few bad puzzles where the correct solution was rather arbitrarily chosen from a set of similar, likely solutions notwithstanding. Definitely going to grab this at 40% off.

Not quite. Currently it's just a matter of faith and trust. Not that I think badly of Daedalic and GOG but that post is more than a month old and it wouldn't be the first time that someone couldn't keep their promises due to unforeseen licensing issues. It may very well be that German and Russian language versions will be added. Or not. Your gamble, as long as we don't get an official statement from GOG.

so, has the skipping audio/text in the first Deponia been fixed yet? without it I kind of can't finish it...

SLP2000: what's with Chains of Satinav?
It's possible to buy it directly from the developer. English version for 173.99 PLN. Daedalic wrote that they're DRM somewhere but I haven't found more specific information what does it mean.
