So, apparently, 5 Polish girls in the age raging from 14-15 years got pregnant this year while playing game "the sun," two of them already gave birth. "The sun" is a game where girls lie on the ground in circle, heards put together, close their eyes and boys start to have sex with them. The one who lasts the longer wins!
This raises anger and envy in me.
1. Anger, because Polish people are highly religious. That's not a bad thing, really, however... Every 13 year old boy or girl in Czech Republic KNOWS precisely what sex is, how it works and what happens afterwards, and how to prevent it using various methods of birth control. I was never attending Polish schools so I wouldn't know, but apparently, our neighbors aren't so lucky. So yeah, way to ruin your life out of ignorance and if something SHOULD be taught relatively early on in school, it's human sexual life.
Right, no offence. I was raging here!
2. Envy, because ... why the HELL didn't we have something like this when I was 15?

It has nothing to do with religion. At least there should be no relation in the way you suggested. It should be even more important for religious parents to talk about sex with their kids, so they will not do something stupid.

As a matter of fact, yes, it does. The fear of sex and talking about was forever rooted in people by christianity - it may be an issue with other religions as well, but I can hardly be sure about that. Sure, it doesn't specifically say "you can't talk about sex!", however sex was made "bad" by the church since ... forever, and the fact that it's not now doesn't suddenly make it someone's else's fault. And because of that, it's considered "immoral" to talk about sex in any way.
And that, in turn, leads to this.

Apparently, this "game playing" by those involved is nothing more than a mass media fabrication based on a rumor, which apparently is based on a illustration by a Japanese erotic manga artist.
But I'm sure one of our many Polish members may be able to provide better information.

It is possible of course, I was googling it for a minute or to to do at least a basic verification and find it in more sources than the Czech news ... Internets, but didn't really look into it more than that

I don't see the fault in the church with this really, more of how sexual the media is in Poland. Up until a few years ago you'd basically have porn on billboards if I remember correctly, and still pretty close to it.

I can imagine how such a game can be conceived (da dum psssh) when there's lots of alcohol involved, but in my opinion (also experience, see note to self) girls just don't get that easily mass naked, liquor and all. But some are just born retarded, and 15 year old boys are scientifically proven to bang anything that's not sharp, therefore this can easily happen, but probably not a dangerous and far spread threat that the media likes to show everything.

Forget the "that's not sharp" bit-some people will bang ANYTHING, regardless of whether it moves, doesn't move, or doesn't even have any holes. (They'll MAKE them in the latter case.) It's probably why Rule 34 exists.
Anyway, assuming that this is real, it's more proof that we need better sex education...or whatever it takes to get people to not think of sex as a cardinal sin under all circumstances, but at the same time not disregard the consequences.
(My personal solution? Avoid sex entirely! Seriously, what a hassle, especially socially.)

Abstinence-only education might seem like a reasonable idea, and might even work to a certain degree, but the fact remains that it doesn't come close to solving the problems it aims to fix, and that particular line of thought has already been taken to its extreme.
So, yeah, I agree. Better sex ed is the only reasonable solution as far as I can tell.
