This is great. My question is:

Do the saved games stay on my PC or are they only saved on an on-line server?
Looks very cool, but not having played the first game I was really hoping to see it added to GOG to promote the sequel.
SWEET!!!

Insta-buy! )

GoG-release: Almost definitely your PC
Steam-Release: Their website suggests it might use the cloud.
Well, this is a mind blowing offer. I just have to preorder the damn thing even though my comp wouldn't be able to play it for a while.
P.S. GOG should rename themselves to JFGG (Just F**ng Good Games) now.
Pre-ordered!

Edit: Chose to pre-order from GOG for DRM-Free and to maximize how much goes in the team's pockets. You guys rock!

Pre-ordered. I can't wait to see it released (and quite close to my birthday too, which is awesome).
Now pre-ordered from GOG, Steam and Play (physical Collector's Edition). Also, pre-ordered the Premium Edition from Game. Because you guys rock.
This is really exciting! Though I was hoping they would also release The Witcher 1 on GOG. I hope they can do that eventually (not for me, since I own the game, but it would be good to complete the collection).

I think I will still get the box for the Premium edition though because I like having boxed copies of things.

Yep, me too. I don't want to get it in the Steam sale when it comes up, I'd love to get it from GOG.
Steam has it for the same price right now and still plenty of time for them to add more stuff to the package. Wonder if they'll get an exclusive collectors edition closer to release. I'll holf off on preordering until the release date gets closer so I can scope out all the available packages that will be available from all outlets.
you guys are the best thing that ever happened to the gaming industry!
I want my nice game in a box, sorry, but this is a neat thing for GOG to try. I don't get the "wow this is risky" thing many sites are saying, DRM doesn't work at all anyway.
Preordered. Now I just hope my computer can run it, ha. Not normally an issue on GOG.
