I just got a GG account yesterday, to claim a game I won a little while back. And I just got an email today about the halloween sale. Bought myself You Are Empty (which I've been dying to review), Necrovision, Metro 2033, Enola, and Barrow Hill. All for under $20. It was a good day.

Anyone else bought anything?

Bought F.E.A.R and was gifted Painkiller.

Ahh, very good. Both of those games are great.

I bought Zombie Shooter yesterday and I already managed to complete it.

How was it? I quite enjoyed Aliens Shooter 2.

I got Ghostbusters and F.E.A.R. to check out the expansions. Thankfully, it's uncensored for German customers.

Hm, it was certainly short, and nothing special. It's just about shooting and creating big bloodbath. There is almost nothing else to this game than painting walls red. It's okayish, worth it's current price, but nothing memorable.
I played Zombie Shooter 2 sooner this year and it was certainly better with bigger weapons variability and more leveling options and with bit better story (although a lot of them are irrelevant).

EDIT: And compared to Alien Shooter? Well, I think it's just Alein Shooter redone with zombies with almost everything but enemies remaining the same.

So far, I got F.E.A.R. 1+2, Last Half of Darkness, Baron Wittard, Barrow Hill, and Cursed Mountain. I'll probably buy 2-4 more games until Sunday. :) Just played that during the fast few days, you may have seen my review on the product page. ;)

Ooh, I'll be curious to hear what you think of Barrow Hill. I was a bit interested in it, as it seemed like a nice horror adventure with a bit of a more unique setting. Didn't know it was on GamersGate, actually. Too bad I have no money at the mo'.

Is Necrovision any good, I liked Painkiller back in the day.

I'd say no, but thats just my thoughts on it.

Oh, the game, that runs only under one specific build of nVidia drivers from the time, when main version numbers were still two-digit...

Have you played Dark Fall: The Journal? If you liked that, it's a no-brainer to buy Barrow Hill. Atmospheric point-and-click horror adventure game that feels like a real, lived-in location, and I found that I could solve most puzzles using something surprisingly close to "real-world" logic. A personal favourite.

I haven't played Dark Fall, although it's close to the top of my "Buy soonish" list.
