SirEyeball: Ummugumma is a fantastic Pink Floyd Album but connecting that to a game is way beyond my scope of imagination

tinyE: Ever done the Wizard of Oz/Pink Floyd thing?
Well If Wizard of Oz is something weedy then yes (I have actually never seen wizard of OZ the movie)

Stooner: Oh great Bob... all the praise to thee!..
Praise Bob!

Stooner has found the path to truth, and has become illuminated.

However, truth is plentiful and there is still some of it left

(If you manage to solve it, Shogo and MDK are gone. There are 4 left)

Praise Bob!

Not quite but kind of.

You pop in Wizard of Oz in the DVD player.
You pop in Dark Side of the Moon in the CD player.

Push play on the DVD, wait for the 3rd roar of the MGM lion ( I think it's the 3rd roar; if you google it you can find the specific set up details) and push play on the CD. The album and the movie should match up PEFRECTLY. One example would be the Scarecrow dancing around in the field just as Waters is singing "The lunatic is in the grass". That is just one, there are tons more. Of course the movie is way longer than the album so it only actually matches up to the first hour or so (however long Dark Side is).

cool well as I said I never watched the movie so that is something I have yet to do ;)
I'm still blasting away at the last of Bob's benevolent gifts, so I won't redeem this one

Nonetheless, I have been struck dumb and found benefit in this.

(Thanks for the good fun as always, amok!)

Wisdom is knowing when you are struck and in what way. :)

Thanks.

Or you could just watch this.

The synchronicity trick won't work here in Europe with the DVD, as it plays at 50Hz, making it too slow for the album. Should work fine with the Bluray though.

So my UK Megadrive and Super Nintendo played significantly more slowly than their US counterparts, which we attributed to the 50Hz / 60Hz difference you mention. (It sucked as I was already awful enough at Streetfighter 2 and Mortal Kombat without the timing changes.) But I never noticed a difference in film playback rates. I can't imagine UK players would play a film at 5/6ths normal. Seems to me that would be really noticeable. Am I misunderstanding you?
This disciple is going to bed now, but there is still a couple of Bob's gifts of truth left.

And, as Bob himself said to Rich, the bastard, when he asked for further help - "RIch, you bastard, just zip it and let me sleep", I will now bid you goodnight.

JR "Bob" Dobbs?
Bob's gifts are still standing. Bump this one once more, and then I will let it sleep.
