I have noticed threads about posting your setup, and posting what your desktop looks like, but none about what hardware we GoGers game on, or what cases they are housed in(GOG can take this down if there is such a thread). It would be nice to find out if we lovers of old games really do have 'ancient' hardware, or just really old computers. Hopefully we haven't and the people who come here will realise we are not just people who play old games due to old hardware, but we play older games simply because, in most cases, they are better then new games.
If one does not know how to determine their hardware, please run 'dxdiag' in windows start menu. XP users click on run in the start menu, and a little box will pop up where you can type it in. For HDD info, simply go to my computer and right click on the HDD in use, and go to properties. For even more in depth info regarding hardware, I suggest using Speccy, which is still in BETA:

Mac and linux users, sorry I can't help you with this. :(
So, please list your details like this(the vendor name and speed of each component, like RAM, is optional):

Motherboard: Asus M-EVO AM3
HDD 1: 500GB Western digital blue @7200rpm

Note: Please do not copy paste your dxdiag. It makes for some awful, seriously long reading!

I wondered where that went. My Search-fu is weak, as I couldn't for the life of me find that thread.

Well now, I *do* have some quite aged hardwares... and I don't feel like upgrading them. It's just that I don't see myself playing almost any of the newer games requiring a better rig. (Seriously, the only 2009-2010 games I played are Anno 1404+Venice /which run quite nice on my machine/ and Plants vs Zombies.)
So, with me it's not "I play old games because my computer can only run those", but "I don't intend to play new game, so this older machine will do just fine".
Anyway, here're my system specs.
