I took a tip from deadendthrills.com and decided to make use of a debug mod to remove the HUD in Deus Ex: Human Revolution and take a few nice screenshots:

I also realized I didn't have all my settings up when I first played through this game because I wasn't using DX11. DOH! It looks real nice now, as you can see. I love how everything looks like a painting.

Morrowind with MGSO and MGE XE! A 10-year-old game has no right to look this purty.

Mm, water and bloom. *Drools*
Thankfully the Neravarine is immune to being blinded by staring at the sun.
Notice the hole in the ground where Distant Land hasn't fully loaded.
Shader-less, but it's less noticeable at night anyway.

MGE XE settings for those interested:
2x antialiasing, 16x anisotropic filtering
Shaders: SSAO Fast, Sunshafts, Bloom Soft, HDR
Distant Land: 10 Cells

Awesome pics. Morrowind rules!
Cool dudes don't look at explosions.
More Morrowind in Balmora.

City scape
They did a good job on the sunshafts, people often overdo them.
Notice the guard apparently doing a jig and the tail of a cliff racer about to eat my face.
This is probably my fav so far.

Bump for STALKER pic.

Ominous skies on the horizon as a thunderstorm approaches.

I love how the Weather Enhanced mod actually makes thunderstorms approach you instead of just showing up like your annoying cousin. Why don't more games do that?
Zeno Clash is home to one of my favorite fantasy worlds. Everything is so weird, brtual, beautiful, and primitive there.

Here are a few shots I took from the absolutely breathtaking Outerra: Anteworld.
This is the alpha build of a new graphics engine that uses procedural generation techniques to create an entire planet with different biomes for deserts, grasslands, snowy fields, etc. The results are stunning and the world is immense. This might very well be the future of open world games. This is the latest version which has added in animated blades of grass that move with the rolling wind, and water that rolls into the coastline in waves.

For those interested in the project, here is their website:
