I have to admit, I made this thread because I always thought that PC gaming does not have that great music, soundtracks, etc. for some reason while classic console gaming has iconic music like Final Fantasy, and Metroid. So I made this thread to see any good music from PC games of old.

Already the one I like is this one from Morrowind:

Hard to not love this one:

On the subject of Deus Ex, The Synapse was always the standout theme for me. The game had a great soundtrack, but that was the one that really etched itself into my... *ahem* synapses.
Jazz Jackrabbit - Tubelectric
One Must Fall - Theme
Tyrian - Rock Garden
Septerra Core - Battle 6
The Whispered World - Main Theme
Dustforce - The Magnetic Tree
Fallout 2 - My Chrysalis Highwayman

Anyway, that's enough for now...

The whole OST was pretty damn good... but this and UNATCO make it for me... though I may change my mind after listening to them all again :P
I played this game for the 1st time, and was amazed...

Crusader: No Remorse
Dominions 3 also has some good songs, but I can't find any of them on youtube.

The Tiny Bang Story (Strategic Music)

I don't mean this as a troll but I find even good music can be a distraction during a game so I usually turn it off. The only noticeable exceptions are Diablo 1 & 2 which REALLY adds to the whole game and GTA when I'm cruising around (if I'm in chase I turn it off).

What about braid?
Any of Pantera's albums including and after Cowboys From Hell are good to game to, Megadeth is pretty good, and if you're in the mood for something more rock 'n roll, Exile on Main Street and Sticky Fingers are good gaming music by The Rolling Stones.
