stoicsentry: That could be interesting. She's a Magic user though, from what I understand, and Wraith has little patience for Magic users.
It'll be interesting to learn more about his dislike of Magiks as the story/roleplay carries on and as he may or may not work along with such types.

Guess I know what I'm gonna be killing. Fucking mages.
Well I just wanted to pop in before I hit the rack. As Tartoga has just arrived and hasn't found work he will surely be found slumming in some pub.

Over and out.

Lol it's A form of currency between mages and perhaps even certain shops(who can take it for their good and services and then sell it to magik users and magikal supply shops for regular currency/etc) but not the be-all, end-all currency....which will possibly be a precious metal of some sort.
------------------------------------------------------

Some info about the game to add to what you all know so far:

Name of the region is Lyndrillium.

Lyndrillium is also the name of a Magikal form of currency traded between Magik users and a few others, used by the former to cast more demanding spells and also to barter with other Magik users and shops for needed items.

Lowest form of currency is called a copper, is about as big as a US penny albeit a bit thicker, and is made from mostly copper as it's name implies. Many of the poorest folk know only coppers when bartering and working for their daily bread, although there are exceptions.

The next form of currency is a silver......which oddly enough is not pure silver but is made from silver surrounding a copper center. It is worth 10 coppers or so as markets fluctuate. It is around the size of a quarter but twice as thick. Many poorer merchants live on and trade these and coppers as well for the most part(again there are exceptions).

Above that is the silver crown, or crown for short. It is 100% silver and the size of a silver half-dollar in the US. It is worth 20 silvers or so as it is not only pure silver but nearly twice the size as a silver. These are traded and earned by higher class citizens and merchants, and are hardly ever seen by the classes below them.

Then there is the royal, the pinnacle of the official currency of the region. Made of 18 karat or purer gold and the same size/thickness as a crown, it is worth 10 crowns.

stoicsentry: Who believes himself to be a believer
At comfort in the clutches of night,
In light, prone to blindness and fever
Whose crossbow is pulled to fight?

Who in the cavernous deep doth dwell
He, one hundred villains has fell,
The tracker and trapper of great renown,
Hidden away with Mouse and hound?

Whose trust for the ancient myths did dwindle,
Now retreats down the lonely paths of the world,
'Till the fires of justice and righteousness kindle,
That with the dawn, a new banner unfurled?

Who hears now the lies the elders enforce,
Who fears not their magic nor any such force,
Who counts on the bolts, the mace and the lathe?
This man, I submit, bears the name of the Wraith.
At times I cannot help but wonder
as I turn my eyes to the stars
whether fate will find me within these woods
or whether I am nought but a mouse, singing into the wind

For I left the gods with the single dream
of pulling my people up from their own ashes,
healing their wounds, teaching them to live by their own hands
and yet my words fall now upon one single ear

One single wraith among the trees,
a single gust of wind
howling through the caves at night -
singing his own songs.

And maybe that is enough.

At times I cannot help but wonder
whether lemon-grass might make our healing potions more paletable
without sacrificing potency
since sugar is so difficult to find these days

At times I turn my eyes to the stars
and smile back at fate
for there will be time to teach when I am old and wise -
But now is the time to bring in the firewood
and sing a melody to the wind
as we prepare for the night.

When did this turn from a simple roleplay to a complex writing roleplay lol.

Well this IS a story based roleplay....:P

But I think he is just posting some poetic prose for us to ponder and prognosticate upon as i I finish tying up the loose ends.
This is kinda sappy, but I wrote it for my wife

Love...
A word that held no meaning,
A word I loathed and cursed,
Until I met you.

Happiness...
A useless feeling,
A brief glimpse of calm in the storm,
Or so I thought,
Until I met you.

Until I met you,
I swam the waters of misery,
I walked the road of hatred,
I cling to the darkness,
Just to escape the light.

Hope was a pointless concept,
as stupid as faith,
as useless as fate,
Until I met you.

Doubt and Sorrow, Hatred and Pain.
Four words that defined my life,
That clouded my beating heart,
Until I met you.

When I met you,
I felt free,
Watching my cage open,
Watching the storm clouds clear.

Nothing stood in my way,
No mountain or sea,
No God or man,
As my love for you grew.

I became strong,
Holding the might,
The very strength,
To lay low the gods,
to turn Heaven to rubble.

Life held no meaning,
My cruelty was everything,
I was cold and mecriless....

Until I met you

You got me into the Poetic mood :D
Roleplay will go live in several hours. Everyone note I will post various extra infos in here and my intro post in the actual main roleplay thread and then everyone is free to start off proper after all that is done.
I'm guessing this is dead?
