langurmonkey: People CAN adapt and accept other cultures, so what? Almost everything is still cultural. The way you greet people. What makes you look cool. What makes you look like a loser. How you should treat a woman. How you should treat your children. The list goes on and on. The interview is not cultural but the winner of the interview is determined by which culture you see the interview from... I do have a warrior culture. I'm surprised I'm not in prison... People don't have to automatically accept the culture of their land, you know. They can turn their back on it, and choose their culture... A culture that they understand, a culture that feels right. Of course, the dominant culture I grew up around has rubbed off on me though so I'm not saying, I'm 100% unique.

I think he did expect it, and was just trying to keep the interview afloat for as long as he could before he got cut off.

Though Joe's interviewing skills have never been his strongest suit, a fact which he is the first to admit.

Azilut: According to other comments Joe has made, it wasn't Major Nelson who cut the interview - it was his PR handlers offstage. The reason Joe looks so flustered isn't because of Major Nelson, it's because the lady standing behind Major Nelson (who we can't see) is furiously gesturing at him to cut the interview, and Joe is trying to pretend he hasn't seen her. (Edit: Ninja'd by Cormoran)

Without weighing into the "who owned who" debate, I'll just say kudos to Joe for at least managing to get those questions asked, and I hope this little stunt doesn't get him blacklisted.
I did not know this. I thought Joe looks so flustered because of how Major Nelson is reacting to his questions.

So what if I bring up culture all the time? Is that a fucking crime or something? There was a reason I brought it up. We were arguing about who OWNED who and I wanted it to stop because it is pointless. One side wont give into the other when there is an argument about something cultural. I have nothing to spit out.

All I want to know is where'd you get this notion that culture is the most important thing that exists, and what makes you so widely different from everyone else. If not that then I'd at least wish you'd stop using that culture buzzword to dismiss any opinion contrary to yours.

Because else every post you make is completely pointless, and it's more fun to have a discussion with a wall.
