I tried to start playing police quest(just purchased it and install)

but i get this error msg :

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running.Check your computer's system inormation to see whether you need an x86(32-bit) or x64(64-bit) version of the program,and then contact the software publisher"

any ideas?

How are you trying to launch the game? Through the start menu or the icon in its installation folder?

The latter won't work due to it being a DOS executable and needs to be run through DOSBox, the former should do just that.

Welcome to the forums, i cant help with the issue im afraid but this'll bump it up a bi. I see youve made a thread on the pq forums too. The only thing i could suggest is that you add to these topics some system specs. Os ram cpu. The problem looks os related so it may not all be needed but it may be usefull
