This... is... awesome...

Ms. Maggie 007, you seem to love adventure games even more than I do! But I noticed a severe lack of LucasArts games mentioned - apart from the glorious Monkey Island games of course.
I said.... MAKE YOUR OWN PIE!

*smile*

Get that hearing aid checked ASAP!
Stay away from Vagabond. I hear he doesn't wear pants.

...that goes for weclock, too.
LOL! Okay... here they are, favorite "Lucas Arts Games" (besides Monkey Island!)

LOOM (I loved that one when it first came out.

Sam and Max I laughed so hard!

Day of the Tentacle

AND

I played all the Indiana Jones too!

well you don't have to yell.
Not big on adventure games, tried Gabe 1 and Beneath A Steel Sky and gave up. Just got to chapter 4 of Sanitarium and i'm loving it. You should give it a shot if adventure games are still your (groove) thang.

That's better, although I'd put Grim Fandango and Full Throttle in that mix too.

Well, yeah I get it. Pants = extra baggage. Why lug extra weight around when you can be more comfortable by not wearing anything at all? This is why living by yourself is key.
I've played Sanitarium. Was fun.

Yes, adventure games are still my "thing"

OH! I forgot... I was a big time "Bard's Tale" gal! I still have the original disks for the first one. Love RPG's as well. Betrayal at Krondor (well that is also because I am a Raymond Feist fan too!) Of course, "Baldur's Gate" too... there are others too numerous to mention.

Well, I yelled because you couldn't hear me :-) IF I was playing an adventure game I'd find a conch shell for you.
Thank you all for being kind to a N00b in your forum! I'll be back.

Welcome to GoG's forums, Ms. Maggie! This is quite possibly the happiest corner on the internet!*

msmaggie007: Why? Is he normally scary? *smile* I thought he was very kind.
Not really scary, but often grumpy, especially when I am low on caffeine or nicotine.
Shivers is awesome, and it'd be an instabuy for me too. Hopefully, Harvest of Souls makes it here too.
Thank you for the welcome "hamster"....

@ cogadh As for being without caffeine or nicotine, both of which I consume in copious quantities, I can understand irritability without these needful things.
@lowyhong I hope! I hope, I HOPE!

I dreamed of uxupi pots when I played the game the first time. What a great game Shivers is! Everything I like in a game put into one. Adventure, mystery, atmosphere, thinking... a great game.

I'm going to have to poke around the forum a bit more to find out about all of you.

LOVED & beat original Shivers! (I would have loved to be able to visit that museum too, minus the ghosts!) Played Shivers 2 but as I recall, never beat it. Certainly would like another chance! GOG....Customers are waiting! :-)

My favorite series is Quest for Glory! Loved, loved those games.
Are you listening GOG! You already have a customer! :-)

THANKFULLY GOG did put up Betrayal at Krondor. Another just FANTASTIC game.

lol. Make sure to vote for it, bro. Although, I've gotta admit that Shivers would have been an awesome game to play on Halloween.

I'm really hoping GOG puts up Shivers - definitely a favorite from the good old days and I would buy this in a heartbeat!!
