I can't remember the games name and thus can't find any screenshots to help and try get this games title.
So to describe it as much as I can -
It's an RTS about futuristic wars (not specifcly on Earth some maps were)
Some units I recall were Tanks (I think they were white) with long cannons which shot round bombs.
Another unit I recall was nearly identical to this http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/AT-ST-model-kit-star-wars.jpg (a Star Wars walker or something) but in it's head zone it was coverd with glass (blue or green) like a screen for inside operators to see. Oh and the thing shot lasers.
I don't recall much more. Only 1 specific map that the terrain was sandy/desert like on a planet.
Hope you can help me, I know It's a shot in the dark but still... I'm dying to play this game.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I somewhat recall the title including something about Space or War something like that, I really don't remember.

Sounds like 7th Legion

Shot in the dark but, Imperium Galactica? Do you roughly know how old the game is, pre 2000 or post?
Total Annhilation had lots of walking tank types and was a brutally good RTS.
Neither of the games you have guess is the one.
It could be roughly on the verge of 2000 + something or around 1999.
I kinda remember playing it in 2001 or 2002 it was, can't be too specific, cos I can't remember. But I don't know when it was made. I just think thats around the time I first played this game cos my friend had a demo and later I got the full game from my cousin.
Well do you remember if it was 3d or sprite based like the game I linked?

Ralackk: Well do you remember if it was 3d or sprite based like the game I linked?

I think it all was sprite based because I don't recall seeing such amazing graphic units in any war game that was 3D at the time.
But at the same time... maybe it was 3D.
I have to say guys, I feel terrible and a dumbass for barely recalling anything and trying to get help for such a long shot.
Sorry if most of the info I give is false, I just can barely remember it. Wish I had that one screenshot that is nailed in my brain.
State of war? Sorry for the czech pages...

Now, to find out where to get this game.

Well, Mobygames knows it too: http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/state-of-war
Downloaded a demo of State of War: Warmonger from www.gamershell.com and when I push single player, it freezes up.
Anyway, does anyone know where could I actually get this game?
PS. I added to the ''Games you'd love to see on GOG'' would be nice if you guys would support and vote for it. It is a great game indeed. (Hard though)

You can get both State of War and State of War: Warmonger from Impulse.
http://www.impulsedriven.com/sow
http://www.impulsedriven.com/wam
There are also demos for both games on Impulse. So you can try them out first and see if they work any better than the gamershell demo.
I hope this helps.
