lackoo1111: @ gyokzoli
did you get your game ?

gyokzoli: I did not send a mail to Crassmaster yet since I figured out that the D2D version has an online activation as DRM. I am still undecided yet what I should do since I don't like the idea of the limited number of activations.
And I know that right now Steam is also selling the game for a discount price but that costs twice as much and still have some kind of DRM (cannot run w/o Steam klient).
Probably I'm going to stick with my DVD copy since I have all but Colonization on DVD. I just wanted a DRM free version.

If you're referring to the DRM used on some parts of Civ IV, it has been completely patched out of all of it.
Anyway, lemme know if you change your mind. Offer stands until the weekend's over. :)

Hmm...the euro pricing is a little bit more expensive (as usual) than usd/gbp price, but what the heck; It's only a few cents pricier anyway. What's your paypal account e-mail? My steam account e-mail is my username @gmail.com.

Got it! Thank you! :D

Steam version of Civ 4 complete or better datadisks are standalone?
They are pretty big.
Civ 4 - 1.5 GB
Warlords - 2.1 GB
Beyond - 3.6 GB

I think each version is standalone so for the complete pack you are essentially installing Civ4 3 times.
Not sure about Colonization. Can't be stand alone as it's only 900MB but then I managed to run it on its own.

Colonization is standalone. Either of the expansions needs the Civ 4 base game installed, but they don't require each other to be installed. So, you can run Beyond the Sword so long as Civ 4 is installed, but you don't also need Warlords.

I made up my mind and I think I'll skip it but thank you for your kind offer anyway, you are very generous.

Yes, I thougt that. So i installed all three. They are in separate folders and their total size on disk is 7,05 GB viz attached.
I try to delete Civ IV base game and will see.
Attachments:
Beyond the Sword contains several "total conversion mods" of Civ4, probably requiring most of the Civ4 game data several times over, which is why the size is so inflated compared to Civ4.
