Balthier had already a thread about it with success so I thought I also give it a try.
Would anyone help me to get Civ4 Complete from D2D? The reason is the region resctriction which prevent me buying the gem from any of D2D's sites, but it can be gifted to any region/country.
I can send the money through PayPal even before the purchase if anyone is willing to help me.
I'd prefer from the EU or the UK sites since the game is cheaper on those.
EU version restrictions: This product is only available for purchase in France, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Aland Island.
UK version restrictions: This product is only available for purchase in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

I should be able to help you out, but not until the end of the week. The sale runs until Monday morning though, so that should be okay. :)

I would love to hear D2D's explanation as to why Ireland is excluded. Does 2K provide Irish language localization now? Or do we have a different publisher?

Thank you for contacting us and I'm sorry for any delay in our response.
Unfortunately due to country restrictions this title is only available for purchase in France, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Aland Island. This means that you are not able to purchase it from your current location.
These restrictions are set by the game developers and we have no means to bypass them.
We have a plethora of additional game titles that are available worldwide. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

why would you risk your account?
"why would you risk your account?"
illegal transaction ( buying via non hungarian IP with Hungarian CC )

how the hell is that illegal?
your ip is just a number. it can show your location but it does not.
read the term and services and there is nothing about that. I used my real name and my own credit card. what my IP is doesn't matter.
Did you use your original D2D account,or created a new one ?
edit:
is Hotspot Shield secure enough ? SSL support ?

I did not send a mail to Crassmaster yet since I figured out that the D2D version has an online activation as DRM. I am still undecided yet what I should do since I don't like the idea of the limited number of activations.
And I know that right now Steam is also selling the game for a discount price but that costs twice as much and still have some kind of DRM (cannot run w/o Steam klient).
Probably I'm going to stick with my DVD copy since I have all but Colonization on DVD. I just wanted a DRM free version.

I tried it here, but:
A) Steam, D2D and Impulse all kept knowing where I am. So no region restricted games to me.
B) It's bloody full of spam! GOD it adds spam to everything that uses an internet connection. It's awful! How could you deal with it?
