If you buy it, you support nazis who don't allow uncut games to run in Germany and Austria.

EDIT:
Example: http://puu.sh/8drLe.PNG

I informed the ECC about that practice.

Please also do, so maybe they work faster if more people complain!

I doubt the NSDAP had anything to do with it.

Ummmm I know it's not my place to say this but shouldn't you take that up with the makers of those laws rather than those who are bound to follow them if they wish to be able to sell their game in Germany or Austria?

That sentence made no sense whatsoever.

I'm with you Protoss!

I for one make it a point to only support Nazis who do allow uncut games to run in Germany and Austria.
By your logic, one should not buy any game that gets restricted in Germany. And that would be a message to Germans only (Austrians on digital platforms, but I hear they can get uncut retail copies), since the rest of us have nothing to boycott (though we empathize).

And do they get a cut of the revenue of games sold there? I don't see how that would be legal.
seriously Protoss, what the hell?I'm trying to even here, how does buying one game has to do with supporting nazis?I know Germany's rating system is harsh but damn this is overreacting

Not funny! :-(

You'd think that half a century of dictatorship is enough in Germany to show the worth of freedom. But our politicians are still mostly from the right-wing, and now Steam supports them by violating EU law. :-(

They essentially forbid you to fight against nazis in video games. How can they not be some themselves then?

I'm tired of that racist stuff by U.S. companies and by German politicians! I'll leave this country when I'm healthy enough, but for now I just find it inacceptable that I am LESS OF A HUMAN because I live here! I am less of someone who can have free art.

Germany is even worse than Iran, Russia and North Korea in terms of censorship. Also, the politicians spied illegaly on the German people, our "Verfassungsschutz" didn't give a shit about nazis killing turkish and greek people, and most political parties of today were essentially sculpted by top nazis. The inventor of the mobile gas chamber, for example, worked in a top position at the federal intelligence agency.

I stand by it: Germany still is naziland. Steam should stop supporting them. There is no legal obligation to prevent people of a certain race, nationality, ethnicity, etc. from being even able to start stuff they bought fully legal. There is not even a right to do so.

And that is only the tip of the iceberg!

Don't they ban all Nazi symbolism in Germany? So how would boycotting the game help?

He's comparing game censorship to a group of people that murdered 5 million Jews and he takes issue with my post.

Okay what planet are we on?

Because, we know, censorship in a video game is equal to real death and mass murder.
