Playstation 4, because Nintendo's clearly just dropped the ball and really isn't making an effort to get it back, so screw them, and I'm not exactly wanting to side with the console division that's known to blast ads at every opportunity, so screw XBOX.
Most I'd get if I ever is a Wii U. None of the 3 machines appeal to me though. The Wii U barely makes an impression for the tablet controller.
If I had to pick one I'd take an Xbox One as they seem like they will be more supply limited for Christmas and flip it for money. As far as a system to play myself, I don't really care for either.

I don't like the idea of having to pay for a Kinect for the XB1 and I don't care for any of Sony's exclusives. If I had to pick a system to keep for games I'd say a Wii U as Bayonetta 2 and X were the two games I saw at E3 this year with the most appeal to me that won't be appearing on PC.
PlayStation 4.

Why (points are all vs. Xbox One):

• Cheaper

• More powerful GPU -> multiplatform games will look and/or run better

• Exclusive games (so far) are more appealing (to me)

• User replaceable / expandable HDD
I won't be getting either console at launch. I've got a PS3, which will be good for at least a couple of years yet, and a Wii U, which slowly seems to be picking up pace (VERY slowly) with some traditional Ninty releases in the coming months. Despite the threadbare release schedule, there are actually more games planned for Wii U that I want than there are for PC or PS3 - DKC Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Wind Waker, Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2 and whatever Monolithsoft has coming up.

Microsoft's initial stream of insults still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, despite the Xbox One now finally evolving into a half-way serious contender, and there's nothing in the launch line up that really takes my fancy. Forza 5 at best, but I'm not that much of a racing sim buff that I have to replace GT5/6 with it. Dead Rising 3 looks moderately interesting, but again, I never really got into 2 that much. Titanfall just looks crap - the embodiment of that kind of dudebro gaming that I just hate.

If the Xbone at least had 360 back-comp, I might have considered it as a kind of future-proofed 360 (because I don't have a 360), but as it stands, I have no reason to even consider an Xbox One right now.

And if I'm honest, the PS4 launch line-up isn't much better. Like Forza 5, DriveClub sounds intriguing, but again, not a must-have for me.

The only thing next-gen so far I'm really interested in is Watch Dogs, and I'm waiting to see how the PC vs. PS3 vs. Wii U vs. PS4 versions pan out. If the PC version turns out to be a significant jump quality-wise, I may get that, but the potential of the gamepad on the Wii U is just too enticing.
None yet I wait till there are more games that appeal to me.
Definitely the PS4 for the following:

$100 cheaper

More powerful hardware (as stated above)

Better exclusives IMO(Naughty Dog!) and definitely way more exclusives

Better indie support

Couple those with the fact that Microsoft has basically flipped on everything that they originally stood for just barely 3 months ago at E3, reversing virtually every one of their policies after they saw nobody wanted what they were selling. They totally lost my trust when they did that.

Also, the kinect is a gimmick for casual gamers and I hate the fact that they are forcing this product on the consumer and charging the extra $100 for it when many people don't even want it.

Btw, I own and have thoroughly enjoyed both my 360 and ps3, but I'm done getting behond microsoft I just don't see a point anymore. I do believe I'll pick up Wii U as well eventually when the price is right to go with my PS4. Cheers :)
Oooh.... Wii U. As Fictionvision said, Bayonetta 2 and X look all sorts of awesome. On top of that, the new Sonic game is a Wii U exclusive, and they've got Mario Kart 8 on the way.

Out of the Xbone and PS4, there's no question: PS4. I've been laughing at the XBone since it was announced, and have gotten progressively more jolly every time Microsoft backtracked on some bullshit 'feature'. Whilst I have no illusions that Sony were likely going to do something similar had the XBone been better received, they at least had the smarts to change shit before they announced it, and some of the videos putting the boot in were god damn hilarious (this one, for instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWSIFh8ICaA )

Plus, it's nearly a hundred quid cheaper, and doesn't have a pointless spy camera as standard.

One thing I will say, though, is the prices for PS4/Xbone/Wii U games are borderline hilarious (at least on Amazon). I realise this is the result of years of cheap living on the PC... but shit, son, £45 - £50 each? You'll forgive me if I wait until the prices drop/I can pop into my local used games shop whilst it still exists.
A different box with better internal components.

I'm probably not picking either one, but I would probably blindly pick PS4, just because I would assume it to have more exclusives that are quite different from PC games, and never appear on PC. You know, them being crazy Japanese and all. Did you know that they even have singing and talking toilets in Japan (probably dancing ones too)? So yes, it really is so crazy in there as the JPRGs depict.

That certainly worked for me with e.g. PSX and PS2, I felt their selection of games differed nicely from the games I played on PC. Maybe Nintendo would have been even better in that, but meh.

Yep, it's the cost of games which has made me make the decision not to buy....yet anyway.
A PC.. because is the best ^^ and there is no interesting exclusive game one xbox1 or ps4; and when them both will be massively hacked and no body will buy there game expect the ugly fifa and call of duty serie , microsoft and sony will be put the always online needed even for play solo...

Eventualy, a WII U to go with my computer.
