I'm in, why not right?

Funnily enough my favorite GOG game I don't actually own on GOG but own the disc and have the sequel on GOG. That game is Thief Gold, I plan on seeing a crazy discount on the GOG version sometime this Winter sale and taking advantage on it. I love stealth based games and I think alongside the original trilogy of Splinter Cell games Thief is a pioneer in the stealth genre plus tons of user made content to prolong the life of the game.

I have some other games I haven't even got to play GOG despite buying them because of addictions to certain other games. But this site is wonderful and worth being here! I didn't actually start buying games here until a few months ago and it is now my favorite place to get PC games.

EDIT: Oh and other series I don't own on GOG but adore is the Oddworld games, just fantastic! I have them across different consoles. A mix of strategy and more, each game offers something different. With Abe's Oddyssey and Exodus being the most similar in gameplay but great.

chevkoch: Thanks for the giveaway! PT is in my wishlist, so I'd love to be in.

My favorite game in the GOG vault is . I played the PlayStation version back when, which I bought bundled with the deliciously weird and sinister [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC1AUa_JFXw&list=PLCDFD2179041A287F]soundtrack. Any fan of dark Sci-Fi and bizarre humor should really take a look at this classic. Since "on a good day, only 2.5 million people will die", you reluctantly leave your job as a janitor and skydive down onto massive space ships sniping bad guys. Gotta play it again one of these days.

Right, the community here has been great so far, I started my recent giveaway for the same reasons as you did.

+1 and Merry Xmas!
You're welcome! :-) And added to the giveaway list.

Great suggestion on MDK, I remember doubting getting it when it was originally released, but decided to get something else then, thinking I'd pick it up later but then never did. Will add it to my wl now so I won't forget anymore!

Thanks, Merry Christmas to you too! :-)

TheSupremeForce: I'm not in, because I already own a physical copy of the game (and I wouldn't want to deprive anyone of the opportunity to play it).

My favorite game on GOG is Neverwinter Nights. Sure, the official campaign is average (the second expansion was fantastic, at least), but the community keeps me coming back for more. Between the modules and the persistent worlds, I've been playing the game for nearly ten years.
Hi SupremeForce! I'm curious to check out Neverwinter Nights, I got it in the D&D bundle yesterday. Pretty cool there's such a great communityfor it still that keeps adding to the game even to this day.

LinustheBold: Not in, as I own Planescape in a box and on GOG as well, and it's a brilliant game. But welcome, and +1 rep.

I second the Thief suggestion, though - forewarned is forearmed - it is much less magical in these modern times, what with dated graphics and some hit-or-miss movement schemes. Back in the day, though, it was about as good as gaming got.

I'm also very fond of Project Eden, which was a recent discovery for me (and one I found purely because of a GOG sale). Like the Thief games, it suffers some from the places our tech has gone since it was released, but for all that I had a blast playing it. A real treat, and a game that is for the most part undiscovered.
Thanks LinustheBold! :-)

Second vote for Thief. I don't really mind dated graphics (I mean, it's nice to have state-of-the-art ones, but that does not a good game make :-) ), so I think I'll be able to live with that. Project Eden is one I've never heard of before, so definitely will check that one out, thanks for the tips!

Buy Ground Control 1 and 2 you won't regret it.

Also you can buy Chronicles of Riddick.

Added you to the giveaway list! :-)

Thanks for the tips! Think I have Ground Control 1 lying around here somewhere, must install it again one of these days, see whether it still works and otherwise get it on gog. And I loved the Riddick movies, so definitely will check out the Chronicles of Riddick game!

triock: Not in, but thanks for doing this GA with such a great game.

My fav - Wizardry 8 - buy it, NOW!!! :D
Hehe, I love Planescape! Already own the boxed version, now also got it in the D&D bundle and thought it would be the perfect game to try out how the gifting option on this site works. :-)

Great tip, thanks! I also see it's turnbased, those are my favourites, will definitely get it, added to wishlist for NOW. ;-)

tAnt0: I'm in. Thanks for the giveaway :)

My favorite GOG game would be Neverwinter Nights 2. I loved it when it came out and it influenced me to try other Dungeons & Dragons games like Neverwinter Nigts, Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate series which I loved as well :)
Added you to the list. :-) And you're welcome! :-)

I got NWN 2 in the D&D bundle, so am looking forward getting into this series. I first installed BG1 now and then work my way through the other D&D titles! :-)

YES, why not? :-) Added you to the list!

Hehe, another recommendation for Thief. Think I'll be joining you in seeing whether it'll pop up in an even better sale than it has right now! :-) Thanks for the tip!

I only joined at the beginning of this month and I already have over fifty games on here already (ok, 12 of those are freebies, plus the three free Fallout games, but still ;-) ), so it'll be a while till I get to every one of them. Don't think I need to buy anymore in the new year lol, unless they continue these awesome sales of course. ;-)

I have heard about the Oddworld games, so definitely will look into those as well, thanks!

Hi ma5terbob, added you to the list! :-)

I think I only played a demo of Fallout 1 back in the day, or borrowed it briefly from a friend, but I was really still only playing adventure games back then. Glad I got 1, 2 and Tactics now for free on here a few days ago! Heard so many great things about System Shock 2, will check it out!

Hehe, thanks, my pleasure for holding it. :-) Added you to the list!

So happy we got the Fallout games for free a few days ago! I've only played the first one for a little bit years ago, glad to get another chance now!
I'm in.
I made an account in GOG solely for the fact that the Heroes of Might & Magic bundle was on sale, so I'll probably choose that one (specially HOMM 3, that one's still the best!)

Hi Badseeder, added you to the list! :-)

I LOVE the HoMM games! :-) I think I have boxed copies of all of them, except for the Chronicles,, but would gladly buy them again on Gog. I'm really hoping that sales bundle they were in a few days ago that was voted out returns during these winter sales! As for the favourite, that would be between HoMM 2 and 3, hard to pick just one, they're both brilliant.

Not in, but thanks for a cool giveaway. :)
I'm in. My favourite GOG.com has got to be Deus Ex I have yet to play a game that has left the same effect(besides Bioshock but bioshocks not on GOG) any DE also has a great story and pacing and interesting characters. If you do play the game don't level up swimming its fairly useless.
Hey there Corwim,

Recent viewer to the website myself after seeing a mention on facebook. Geeked out at the games on here, and now have an epic wishlist, drooling over the winter sale. Kicking myself for missing the RPG collection the other day with the Bioware games.

Favorite game, hmm, I would have to go with Dungeon Keeper (first one). Loved that to bits when it game out, taking absolute care to maximise the chambers for those annoying heroes!

I'm in please.

Added you to the list! :-) Hm, I have this 'not my cup of tea' feeling with Deus Ex, but I have absolutely no recollection how I got that lol. Should give it another try, thanks for the tip!

Hi Hairyfiend,

Hehe, I saw a few mentions pop up on my facebook as well mentioning the free Fallout games, think the word of mouth did its job there. ;-) My wishlist is pretty epic as well by now, and I keep adding to it lol. The D&D bundle was an awesome deal! Hoping for you it'll come back before the sales are over.

I've only played the second Dungeon Keeper for a bit, and liked that one, but I never got round to getting the first game in the series, awesome that it's another classic here on gog, added now to my wl as well. ;-)
I am in. Favorite GOG game that i have played is deus ex, which i played years ago on the ps2
I'm in! :)

Welcome, Corwim, and thank you for being so generous as to do a giveaway! That's really awesome of you, but I guess that's exactly what GOG is about. :)

My favorite GOG game is probably - if I had to choose - Icewind Dale I or II, but I have lots of faves. It's so easy to get addicted to buying things on here. xD
Not in. +1
