As one person noticed, my FPS 'Pit' is now available on indievania, and can be downloaded for free (or you can pay what you want. Profits will go toward funding future projects). Not that this changes much of anything, but I'm very excited! First step toward starting to make money off of developing games.

It seems "Pay What You Want" only starts at $1 minimum. (Not saying you don't deserve it, just letting you know in case you also wanted people to enjoy it for free. :) )

It's perfectly possible to type $0, $1 is just the default. Perhaps he changed it since you posted but didn't mention changing it?

Nice going! I'm working on my own indie title at the moment, but alongside work it's difficult to make progress or even get someone on board for graphics (I have a musician involved).

Will give this is a crack as soon as I have time (and will chuck in a dollar or two).

I already got it when it was still advertised as $0.00. Now, when I type in $0 or $0.00 I get an error message "We cannot proceed your order without payment." But maybe the error message is misleading and it just doesn't work because I already "bought" it with the same e-mail address? Have you (or something else) actually "bought" it for $0 after jefequeso switched to "Pay What You Want"?

No, I didn't actually try and put the order though. It did say something like "no payment required for free order" at the bottom though.

D'oh! My bad. Turns out I forgot to check "Other" before typing $0 - the form doesn't switch to "Other" automatically when you type your own price and so it was still assuming I was trying to pay $10.

Everything in order then.

Yeah, I checked all the settings. You should be able to get it without paying anything.

I'm proud of the game, but I don't think it's quite good enough to justify a minimum price. I figure if people feel like the game deserves their money, they can pay me...otherwise, they can enjoy it for free :3

Here is a link to the contest that is still running.

Actually, the contest is closed now I'm afraid :(. I pushed the date back since nobody else was entering.

I should probably edit the original post.
