@ Tallima - Yes, you are correct, this is possible. But indeed, the downloading from the Steam-server is ofcourse what is making it quite interesting. (Although having a second place like GoG to download from shouldn't be that bad either :) ) Thanks for the info though..

It's not so much being a fan as being completely obsessed. The fact that an amazing game like Sacrifice, that does everything right and still sells badly makes me wanna kill puppies...

Did not know about the linking non-Steam games to Steam part.

But with response to whoever mentioned, "I only like one platform", GOG is not so much a platform as it is a place you buy games; more of a vendor.

Once you buy and download a game from GOG, technically, you're done with them (unless some universal update comes out).
