So I really enjoyed the first Phantasmagoria:nice story,easy puzzles,good acting.
It wasn't a masterpiece (Gabriel Knight 2 is much better),but it was really funny to play.
So a user on Gog gifted me Phantasmagoria 2 and....well,this game sucks!
First of all,in order to proceed you must click EVERYTHING.Seriously,why I can't proceed because I didn't check myself into a mirror :l
Second,puzzles are horrible.The first thing you do when you begin the game is retrive your wallet...using a rat!It's insane!!

I'm using rats to get my wallet all the time. You must be really weird over ther in Italy to not do so.

The puzzles are easy, well, until the last one pops up.

Game is one of many, many guilty pleasures.

It's glorious and You know it. That wallet-finding did blow my mind a bit at the time though.

There are no real puzzles in the game and when some manage to appear they're quite easy. Except for the last one maybe, that one is a bit weird but it can be expected due to the nature of the place where you have to solve it. The acting isn't all that different from the first game especially when compared to the husband from the first game.
So the game actually isn't that bad as some people try to make it sound.

I watched the beginning of Spoony's LP (not a big fan, but I find him amusing from time to time), that rat puzzle was pretty amazing.

Pardon me while I laugh hysterically. Seriously, none of these old FMV types have anything close to what I would call "good acting". That's okay though: I love that '90s cheese. ;)

Never played it, but I remember scathing reviews, and that's compared to the first game which wasn't very well received, either.

I'd like to play Phantasmagoria 2 sometime. Seems like a "so bad it's kind of good and funny" B-movie horror.
