It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hello everyone,

I have a question. There has been an update to Scratches game, and, of course, red notification popped up near login part of a user panel (let´s call it a user panel, for the lack of proper name on my part).

Now, I clicked on it, saw what was updated, but then, when I click "GOG.com" icon, to return to main page, it doesn´t go away as it used to.
Is there any way to mark this update as "seen," so it wouldn´t try to catch my attention anymore? Because before it would just disappear, but not anymore.

I am using Opera 12.14.

Thanks for answer.

yeah this happens sometimes. its poo!
It happens to me all the time. Usually it go away after I've clicked on the updated game on my shelf a couple times and refresh the page.
Wow, that´s strange....
When I am in Messages section of my profile, notification goes away, but when I click in GOG to go to main page, it´s back again :) This time, clicking it won´t help because it will transfer me to my games page, but then it shows "new&updated games: 0"

Well, I hope it will go away permanently after some time, I will wait with with solution marking for now.

It might be something with Opera browser, wouldn´t surprise me if it would.

EDIT:// Since I´ve been chatting with Stooner, I can see that PM messages are disappearing correctly after viewing them, it´s just the game update which won´t go away.

Sometimes it disappears right away; at other times it'll linger until I close and reopen my browser and/or revisit the site.

I'm presuming it's some sort of server issue, as (for example) I will randomly receive a 403 error when I visit the GOG forums, especially after re-editing a post. (Oh, for a Preview Post option.)
you updated opera just before that?
other browser has same problem?

No I did not updated Opera for quite some time.
I don´t know if other browsers have this kind of problem, but I considered it worth mentioning I have an Opera - sometimes not everything is 100 percent compatible (for example Yahoo and Opera). I like Opera more than other browsers, but I have also Google Chrome installed for those non-compatible cases.

well if you try another browser you narrow the problem to a browser glitch (if it works with others)
or can delete cookies, temporary etc
you can try ccleaner - like 1 million people use that if you don't know already about it :)
it has nothing to do with Opera or whatever browser is used :

it's a bug introduced since they changed slightly the website.

So , it will go away after some time, don't bother with this issue ;)

then -> scratches got a Mac version , so you need to click to the appropriate tab to see the update :/

finally , Opera latest version (for the v12 branch) is 12.16. I don't use the v15....
