That was the worst password entry I've ever put in... you HAVE to have caps, uppercase and lowercase, numbers and minimum of 9 characters and you can't use common words. Then the PC gamer email clearly shows your password on the email without warning. I'm very password protective so that pisses me off. I dont even remember what I put as my password for this one because it had to be so screwed up.
I havent even gotten my confirmation email yet :|

That annoyed me as well, I've got a 8 digit games password that I have been using for over 10 years without problem. Now because I've got to have some new random password I'll probably end up forgetting it.

Except that it didn't work for me. But it's done installing now.
Also, one reason it's so slow is that it downloads a million small files instead of one large one. This makes sense for an updater meant for a work in progress that's constantly having small changes added, but when the size gets up to 8GB, they really should do a weekly build in one big file, and then only use the update function after that.

There was an interesting article where a guy wanted to find out what's the fuss about online-shooters - shame I can't find it anymore. Anyway, since he's new to it and didn't wanted to piss off the so called "pros", he tried with an older title called Unreal Tournament. Guess what happened?
Right. Spawn, headshoot. Respawn, run for a few yards, headshoot. And so on and on. The few moments he actually saw opponents moving, it looked like flash forwards. We all know it must have been lag.....

Ahh sorry I didn't actually try it myself as I had 500kb/s download on the direct download a couple nights back and didn't want to press anything that might screw that up.

The download always gets slow when they invite a new batch in, it took me 3 days to download it back in march...

Got my beta key and trying to download it now but wow its slow to download. Hopefully cya guys in game when it finally finishes.

PunkBuster is notorious for offering poor protection against exploits and having little respect for your privacy.

Quite fun. Not sure if it will be fun more than a few hours though. The gunplay is slightly clunky, it really reminds of Just Cause 2. The cars don't handle well either, due to lag. There is a delay between pressing a button and the car steering. Not sure if that is just me.
