Petrell: Considering that only way to get 80% discount is to buy the whole bundle
avatar
Maighstir: Or to trade with someone who already owns the whole bundle. Those can buy individual titles at 80% off.
Oh right, forgot that possibility :-p

deamento: So basicly, no i can't buy the pack
oh well, in a couple of years i have a credit card, then i can hope it goes on sale again >_>

BlueMooner: What I was thinking was one of two things:

1) If you went to a random site and wanted to buy something from them, could you pay their paypal acct with your card? If so, then you can create a paypal acct (don't tell them you're under 18 and you didn't hear this from me), make a payment to it with your card, and then use the funds that way to pay GOG.

2) You could find a willing person here, make a payment to their paypal, and then have them buy and gift you the games. That would require trust on your part since there's no guarantee the person won't just keep your money. It also requires trust on their part since your card may be stolen. This is why I suggest #1 first and try to do it by yourself.
1. I think they find out pretty easily, and if they do, i'm boned
2. i don't trust anyone, it's not because this communty is shit (it's not!), it's because people are generally shit

Titanium: You could call them and give them instructions on how to buy you the bundle. Copy/paste your order summary url into the e-mail, then give your account login and some encouraging words (or threats, if that's how you roll).
they said no, i never see them so i can't really pay them :'(

People are not generally shit. There are A LOT of shitty people "A LOT" does not a majority make.

Good to hear. Enjoy your games, but don't forget to study.
Also, check the individual game forums here on GOG as there are a lot of nice fixes. Like the fix to run the original Baldur's Gate in the Baldur's Gate 2 engine, thus giving you better graphics for the original BG and the D&D rule set from BG2.

The graphics are much better in BG2, and BG1 is missing a lot of the character classes that BG2 has (different AD&D rule sets). With the mods and fix packs you will have to install both BG1 & 2, so you can run BG1&2 before you apply the mods and fix packs to see the improvements that BG2 has.
There is actually two different mods BGT and tutu, you will have to determine which mod you want and which fixes you would like to run. There is a widescreen fix that can be applied to either mod. Check the different stickies on the BG Series forum linked below and the essential mods link is a nice step by step procedure of installing them. Read the steps completely before doing them, I think there is a warning or two at the end that should be at the beginning.

Essential Mods

Also, if you're running Windows Vista, 7 or 8 install the games somewhere other than C:\program files. I installed mine into c:\games\Baldurs Gate
