It's time for another hidden gem from the PC gaming history. This week we're getting a closer look at a real-time strategy with RPG elements Warlords Battlecry 3.
Strategy games, the real-time ones as well as turn-based, and RPGs are definitely the most popular genres on the PC platform. That's why developers gladly mixed the two to create RPG strategies or strategy RPGs. The marriage of both genres usually work pretty well. Warlords Battlecry series is an example of such nice mix. We've asked David Craddock how the game keeps up today and [url=http://www.gog.com/en/editorial/hidden_gem_of_the_week_warlords_battlecry_3/]here you can read his article. As with all our hidden gems, we're giving you a discount for the featured game and until Sunday, December 13 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, you can grab Warlords Battlecry 3 for only $7.99!
I got a response to this questions via email. They're working on it, and as soon as they've got additional payment options they'll post it in the news. Until that time though, you're best off asking someone else if you can use their card.
Can't be helped I suppose.
If your Maestro card is not limited to point of sale transaction (physical transactions in store) then you can give it a try.
Regarding Paypal - thank you for your suggestion, we are working on adding new payment methods.

Paypal would be very nice, it's a little bit annoying to enter credit card numbers every time I want to buy something.
Whoops, and there I went sending a note directly to the team about Paypal. Shoulda had more coffee first. Then I might have wandered into the forums area, lol. Oh well... at least I know now I'm not the only one with this on their wish list!
fwiw, the paypal plugin for firefox can generate a single use credit card number. works great. but it would be nice to be able to use paypal without the extra step.

Yeah, the PayPal plugin is what I use for all websites that don't take PayPal.

O.o Haven't hear of that will check it out.
However, I am a tad dissapointed paypal not catered for but nice to see GOG are looking into it.
*EDIT* Can't find a PayPal plugin that works with FF 3.0. Checked the PayPal site but couldn't see anything there either.

Any indication on when paypal will be implemented?
If it's weeks then I just wait for my first purchase here, if it's months then I track down the firefox plugin.

I checked for the browser plugin. It's currently not available for anyone outside the united states, which is unfortunate for us dutchies.

ClickandBuy support would be nice for us Euros without full-time jobs.
I support the wish for PayPal. I don't know how exactly it is in other European countries, but here in Germany, for example, a credit card is not too common, and I suppose its the same in a couple of other countries. Offering PayPal or a similar service (or at least standard bank transfer) would probably bring quite a few additional customers, as I can imagine there are a lot of people who would like to buy something but simply can't, because they don't have a credit card.
