Ah yes, showing solidarity with the lowly peasants of the world. How nice of him. Even nicer that they weren't even allowed to be there, according to the guy who runs the charity.

The good thing about democracy is that the voters get what they deserve.

Any American who considers voting for Romney/Ryan and is not making at least 100 grand each year should really read what they are proposing for America.....

True! How dare the rest of us feel entitlement to food and housing and medical care. That's not the country's concern!

I wonder how their cushy gilded lives will be if there are millions of hungry homeless people wandering around.

SimonG - I agree 100%. I can't speak for other countries, but Americans get the politicians they deserve (vote for). If this is the best America has to offer, how terrible.

Talk about careless. The charity could easily loose contributors if they somehow (though not sure how exactly) came to the conclusion that the charity has a political affiliation with the republicans.

On the other hand, the charity could gain some more die-hard republican contributors... yeah alright, no.

All politicians are guilty of smiling for cameras, but I'd say there's a difference between having lunch with your family and pretending to be helping at a soup kitchen.
