Hey guys, with the full release of Path of Exile, guilds have also been introduced to the game. Who would like to form a GOG guild for trading stuff and just questing together?

Basically, Path of Exile, it is the real spiritual successor of Diablo 2. Huge skill tree, many possibilities of character customization, tons of loot, grim look, totally addicting. Also, it is totally free to play. If you have never heard of it check it out at www.pathofexile.com

OK, there are enough people interested to start the guild.
Just give me the following information and I will invite you.

Can you form guilds in the game now? If not, we already had a little guild going during the beta stage. I think we played it to death and we've moved on, but I think the game has changed enough now that we could be lured back :D

P.S. Argh! I can't find the old thread...
Yes, guild are now officially supported, even including a guild stash for easier trading/ donating. Well who is interested?
I might be interested... at least until D3 Exp and/or Grim Dawn get released...
Hmm, I've been looking for a new game to play. Sure, count me in.

Guilds are supported? That's good news! I'm definitely interested. I don't have it installed yet, I'll have to get back to you...
I've been playing PoE quite a bit lately, and it certainly would be nice to have some known people to play with.
Why not, though I don't play it regularly. Could be nice to play with some fellow people from GOG.
I have been curious about the game, I might be down to join in. I must ask, what is the game play like because it seems fairly reminiscent of Diablo 2 and some Infinity Engine games. :)

Actual gameplay is very similar to D2. Character building is quite a bit more advanced. Active skills are not specific to character classes, but are gained through the use of skill gems, which are slotted into equipment. Various pieces of equipment can have 1-6 slots for skill gems, and these slots can also be linked. This is important because the active skills can be modified with support gems, which can be used in some interesting and rather creative combinations. In addition to that, you also have the passive skill tree (your response to seeing this will likely determine whether or not the game is for you), with the key difference between character classes being where they start on the tree. The combination of skill gems and the passive skill tree means that there's a tremendous variety of ways to play your character, and in my opinion offers a lot of staying power to the game.

Well that sounds promising, from how you describe it, it seems to sound and look like a combination of the Materia system from FF7 and the Sphere Grid from FF10. While I'm not overly a fan of either game, I did like the potential of both of those systems. This does look interesting however I must admit.
I might consider joining, currently have a huge backlog.

Actually my backlog is growing BECAUSE right now I only play Path of Exile.

That's exactly what I know will happen if I start playing it. :d

One of my best friends got hooked because of me, I was in the closed beta, love that game, but also I know how addicting it can be. ;)
