I started another thread a few days ago about this weekend (couldnt find this one for some reason, probably cos I'm stupid) in PoE.

Its a good game, i bunged them a tenner just to continue to have access to beta.

Havent played much as my characters will be wiped, but the game is coming on great. if you are looking for an alternative to Torchlight or D3, this may be the ideal game for you.

The fact that its free is an added bonus, but for the sake of a tenner, they deserve some support.

Their stash tabs are a bit pricey though. I'm thinking of buying 3 more, but that will set me back by 90 points. Not sure if I should lay back and wait for GGG to release more cosmetic packs first before spending my points, but right now I really need more space to stash my rares lol.

Wont they be wiped after beta?

Nope. Any stash tabs you buy remain there after beta. Same with character slots.

Unless you're referring to the rares, in which case yeah they will be wiped. I'm only playing now to familiarize myself with my build. I would hate to mess up somewhere once the game goes into open beta. Knowing that my character will be wiped after closed beta makes me more inclined to experiment with my build now.

I tired it for a while this morning. Liked most of what I saw, but will wait for the finished game to continue. Only thing I didn't like is the rubber-banding enemies. Which is I why I'll wait till the game is actually released.

Yeah the rubber banding has been quite bad since the last few patches. I'm not sure if it's really the patches or the server that's the cause of this though.

But do take the opportunity during the closed beta to try out the builds first. The problem with trying to work on a good build without prior experience in closed beta is that... well, refund points are in short supply :P

True, but rerolls under level 20 are pretty fast.

Good advice, but builds may change during beta too though right? Gotta love the passive skill tree though. Reminds me of something similar in Final Fantasy X International -- at least, I think it was that game, haven't played it for 10 years or so.
