So more than 6 months after the release of the game they are STILL releasing patches to fix gamebreaking bugs and problems and they are STILL getting rid of bugs all the way from fallout 3

Phenomenal

I really love paying Full price for a Beta Version/Test of the game, don't you? The full, final, finished game should come as the GOTY edition later this year

Support for videogames this gen has been completely abysmal

Just like Heroes of M&M 5. Nival did splendid job on making bugged patches and it took them quite a time until the game became passable.

Do you ever stop with the hyperbole? There are no game breaking bugs in New Vegas. People were complaining it was an unplayable mess before it was even released because hurr... it's Bugsidian.

Sure there are bugs but this is a game with a veritable MOUNTAIN of content. Just because they missed ONE plot flag out of thousands that prevented an alliance between the NCR and the Followers that doesn't make it unplayable.

Load up vanilla Fallout 3 if you want to see an unplayable mess. I'm going back into New Vegas for the sixth time. It's one of the best games of the last decade and has more content than dozens of RPG's. DLC? Hell yes, bring it on. 4, 6, 7 I don't care as it's more New Vegas and more importantly it's stuff from Van Buren.

You're complaining because they're actually continuing to release bug fixes for Fallout 3 and Fallout NV? A lot of these bugs are because the player does something unexpected and isn't accounted for in pre-release testing.

I wish more developers would continue to provide such an outstanding level of support (and patching) for their titles rather than ignoring the complaints of their consumers.
An open game such as F:NW without bugs? Great Scot! This can only be followed by a Rapture, since the second coming of Jesus is almost twice as likely to occur. No seriously, nowadays games are muuuch more complex then in the old days, and gamers are more than not filling the seat of extra game testers, kinda like the 1000 monkeys and 1000 typewriters thing. Yeah, until we manage to teach an AI to play through the whole game, with unlimited different playthroughs in an extremely short time frame, we're stuck with day one and day 368 patches.
It's a Bethesda titles. While their games are usually damn good (opinion) they are almost always chock full of bugs (not opinion.) Come to think of it, I don't think they've EVER released a game that didn't have some kind of critical-failure bug that could crash your system if you were unlucky enough to come across it. Oblivion MELTED MY LAST COMPUTER'S GRAPHICS CARD.

Besides that, I agree with the post that most bugs are found by people going outside the norms of activity in a game. "ZOMG if you kill all the quest givers for the core missions you can't finish the game! Fix bug plz!" "When you jump 124 times in a row, then open the menu twice without clicking on anything, then type 'yomamaizafatcow' into the message box the game bluescreens! Why wasn't this caught before release?" "I can't get out! I shot a door at point blank range with 'insert gun name here' while ducking and jumping at the same time to glitch through it without the key and now I'm stuck in the room! Ur game iz teh brokenz!"

This, of course, coming from a player who is largely uncreative in their game playing habits and rarely comes across a game-breaking glitch.
Beth title... What do you think you were paying for on release day?
Are there any games released that don't have bugs? I'd be interested in seeing those.

Nope!

Starting with level 256 there's a graphical glitch in Pac-Man where parts of the screen are corrupted and you can't see what's happening. Supposed to make the game quite a bit more challenging.
