Anyone else love this show? IMO it's way better than the crappy show known as The Office and it has some of the old cast from that show (the US version aka. The Crap Version) in, and it's just so much more fun. I guess it's the small town setting which lends itself to funnier situations than crappy corporate offices that are made to be unfunny.
If you've never seen it, go watch it.
I watched an episode of it (I think I was actually waiting for The Office :p). Not a huge fan, but Amy Pohler just really annoys me (she even made her two or three episodes of Arrested Development unbearable).
The main reason to watch Parks and Rec is Aziz Ansari.
I prefer the Red Green Show.

Yeah, I just can't stand that woman. Maybe Parks and Recreation is a good show, but I'll never watch it as long as she is a cast member. Kinda like how I won't watch 30 Rock because I simply cannot stand Alec Baldwin (I tried, I really tried, since I love Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, and Tracy Morgan),
Parks and Rec was pretty bad at the beginning, but now it's definitely starting to get better. It'll probably never be as good as Community, The Office, and 30 Rock are, though.
Community IS hilarious. Don't have the willpower to go out of my way to watch it, but when I do it always makes me laugh.
For some reason I've come to really dislike the Office. I loved it at first, but everytime I'd catch an episode a second time I'd start getting frustrated with its characters; it felt like they each had the same two or three jokes and you can always predict when one's going to pop up and what it's going to be. (NB: I've never liked the English version. Yuck. Just not much of a Gervais fan. Extras was p. good for a while, tho, I tell u wot.)
I've really enjoyed what I've seen of the second season of Parks and Recreation so far. Caught one or two eps of the first season and thought it was just awful.
You know what else I've been really enjoying lately? Cougar Town. Settle down, it's not nearly as lame as the name implies; it's made by the guy behind Scrubs, and, IMO, is actually better than Scrubs already.

Huh, I am glad you mentioned that. I have been avoiding it like the plague ONLY because of the name. Pretty shallow reason, but there it is. However, it being such a shallow reason, even a perfect stranger in a forum is able to make me give it at least a chance :). I mean, it does have Courtney Cox Arquette, and I like her just fine...
As for the Office, I agree that it has gotten a little stale. However, Erin is cute, and new, so at least that is a little fresh. I usually catch up on episodes via Hulu if I have 25 minutes or so to kill, but I haven't really felt rushed to see a new episode in over a year.

I hate parks and recreation... and I love the office! DOWN REP! :O
I only saw the first few episodes, but it seems like they're just trying to make Amy Pohler's character into a female version of Michael Scott (I love The Office, by the way).

She's actually the opposite of Michael Scott. A very competent, smart person.

I saw the first episode of Cougar Town and wanted to kill myself, it was so bad.

She also does a serious internet show called "smart girls at the party" It's about various achievements that young girls are doing. It a good show.
