Why Paradox doesn't keep considerable amount of stocks to control GG?Why they start new shop after they decided to provide new products with steamworks only? They are developing grand strategy games, but don't have strategy with corporate management.

Sure, the webshop 'sort of' counters that idea, but you have to realize that with Steam keys, running a webshop becomes quite easy. They don't have to host the files, all they have to do is sell people a key, and that's it.

I also would hate to see anything happen to GG. I have used their service a few times and cant really fault it. Ok i know they have had problems and also losing the void service was a bit of a pain. On a side note i had neverend downloaded through void and it still works fine on my machine thought it might have stopped working when void went.

Their add-on policy is horrible and the complexity of the maps is the only thing, which evolved into the right direction recently.

They also seem to be the only place that offers DRM-free versions of a number of games. Their library is diverse, they have countless games that nobody else offers, and they've usually been pretty good at putting even the less popular games on heavy discount. I've gotten some killer deals, such that "killer" would be a grave understatement. The 1C bundle was probably the best purchase I've made aside from buying into the lifetime discount. So many games of varying quality, ranging from veritable classic to pretty bad... yet oddly enjoyable.
Now, the reason I said loved in the past-tense up there at the beginning is because GamersGate took away my "permanent" 15% discount, and to add insult to injury, gave a 20% year-long discount to people who were in the right place at the right time, trying to take advantage of a price error on some Steam keys. It's clear they don't really want my business any more. I've bought a lot of games I wanted from GamersGate already, and without the discount, Greenman Gaming has had far better offers on Steam keys lately.
I don't like Greenman's service nearly as much. I wasn't even able to make any new purchases there for a year (thankfully, I had a ridiculous amount of credit from trade-ins during that time), several of my games have been randomly auto-traded whenever I made a transaction (support also refused to reverse these transactions, which means any time I buy something, I've had to be willing to risk any tradeable games I hadn't played yet), and Capsule sucks. However, I was able to trade for far more credit than I ever actually spent there, and got some great deals on games like Sonic Generations, Arkham City, Human Revolution, Sine Mora, Spec Ops, and Dead Island.
