Crosmando: I backed the Kickstarter and got the game, haven't got round to playing it yet. The developer has said he's applied to have the game on GOG, through their indie portal thing
Has the dev got a response yet?. the game is on IGS/Desura/Gamersgate ... the big ones bar Steam and GOG. The game looks like it would be a good fit for GOG. QUestion is. Is the game actually complete or is it in beta/alpha?

It's complete, but it was released a bit buggy and unbalanced so the dev has been maddly patching it for the last few weeks (it's up to 2.0 now).

thanks. ill wait to see if GOG releases the game at some point (i really wish they would be the first to release a given game instead of waiting to see what everyone else does)

I just have to admit that every time I see this thread I read "Paper Soccer", and I'm really interested in a paper football game. :D

When I played it a couple months ago I didn't have any problems with it.

I think the main reason for the bugs is that this is a one person studio and presumably he didn't have the array of machines to properly test it. That being said, he's taken the bug fixes and rebalances seriously and by the time it gets here there shouldn't be any particular problems.

Over all, I was quite impressed with the game and I expect that they'll be able to reach a deal to distribute it here.

I was eyeing this up on IGS around christmas. It does look nice, but I think I will hold off in the hopes GOG will pick it up.
