Hello guys, i just saw that Panzer Corps got released in Steam. Is there any chance this game gets here too?

Would love to have a drm-free version of this game.

Thanks!

It looks like it's not on GOG yet, but there is a Wishlist for it!

There are always chances. Likely? Not soon, since the publisher, Slitherline Ltd, is not on board yet.
Slitherine works with Matrix Games as its publisher, so no you won't be seeing it here. You can get Panzer Corps and all of its DLCs at Matrix. The only DRM they use is a simple serial key system.

Another option is to get it on steam. The whole pack will cost you a paltry sum of €74.

Actually, Slitherine owns Matrix. They combined a couple of years ago, with Slitherine being the much larger company.

Not so paltry, but ok.. I would like to get a DRM-free version though.
I´d love this one here too, but I think is easier get the Panzer General II here.

And MUCH cheaper. :D Still Panzer Korps is a quasi sequel to the Panzer General games, therefore looks and plays better. Unity of Command is another alternative, not that close to PG but still certainly cheaper than PK.

Sometimes Matrix will put the Panzer Corps series on sale as they did during Christmas... I picked up the whole series with DLC for about 50 bucks. Usually the full game plus DLC will run about $80. Should also be more affordable now that it's on Steam.

It's a super fun game, very easy to learn but very hard to master. Winning scenarios can sometimes come down to one or two hail-mary throws right before the last turn runs out. AI isn't genius but it gets the job done and provides a challenge. If anyone here liked playing Panzer General back in the day, you'll love Panzer Corps.
You can always try the Demo

The demo includes 6 missions from the Bootcamp Campaign, plus the invasion of Poland and the first few turns of the Norway scenario. The transition between the first two scenarios of the main campaign allows you to upgrade your army between scenarios and get a feel for how units improve and gain experience as they travel from battle to battle. Also packaged with the demo is a limited version of Panzer Corps' powerful scenario editor so modders can try their hand at the near limitless possibilities for making new scenarios and campaigns!
I discovered the game this week end and tested the demo yesterday.

Of course they sell it 20$ = 20€ + steam DRM.

I want it on Gog with fait pricing :)

There are lots of games from Slitherine that I would love to see here. Though the most annoying part with them is that they rarely have nice discounts on their site and I don't know DRM they are using.

Their DRM is always just an offline serial key, though multiplayer often requires a log-in to their server system.

They are starting to roll out some of their games on Steam, so hopefully it's a sign that they've stopped being so insular.

Buy it direct from them and there's no Steam requirement, though you can also access Steam keys if you want the option after purchasing.

Simple serial number as DRM. And with that i'm relatively okay.
