I think the deal is for this weekend only, but Overlord for $1.5 doesn't sound bad at all........
(USD though)

How good is the first Overlord?
I have heard mixed reviews on the gameplay, but the plot is apparently very entertaining.
And I think it is something like 9 bucks for Overlord, the expansion, and Overlord 2. I picked them up last night :p
I love how the sequel is more expensive than the pack containing the sequel.
I was interested in the second one but the demo didn't even let me change the controls, which was an instant death to my interest in it.
It's so sad they went away from their Age of Wonders games, which were awesome, and far better than Overlord could ever hope to be. But I suppose something like Age of Wonders wouldn't work on a console. :P
Bring Age of Wonders to GOG!

Catshade: How good is the first Overlord?

I got bored and stopped playing about 3/4 into the game as I remember it. And before that I didn't enjoy it overly much either although it was pretty "fun". $1.50 is probably a reasonable price for the game. :P

It's like Pikmin

And by that he means it's a little janky, but fun overall.
Oh god, incredibly janky, but for some reason I was loving it. I definitely picked up the second the one with the expansion for $9.
Hmm tempting prive even without a functional gaming PC
Do steam purchases ever time out if you don't download them? If not, it might be worth a buy now and I'll actually DL it whenver I have a working game rig
overlord games are a zoo full of evil monkeys fun.
If you like boss battles or dwarf killing overlord one is for you.
If you like killing armys of enemys or elf killing overlord 2 is for you.the mounts your minions can ride in overlord 2 seen under used.like there just there only when the game needs you to do something that needs a mounted minion.Do you have a minion you like watching kill things? Did the minion die?For the cost of a few lesser minions you can rise that minion back from the dead.
The overlord games make you think theres no plot [or make you think the story is only destroy a empire and kill there leader] then they pull a plot out of no where right near the end of the game.

Honestly the game play is pretty mediocre but there's some good humor in the game. Played the demo when it was release and knew there was no way in hell I was going to pay $40 for it (Overlord 2). However, at $8.75 for both games it's a definite buy (I spend more on lunch).
Regarding Steam, you can just buy the games and they will be on your MyGames list -- you don't have to install them immediately. Once something is on your games list it is there indefinitely and you can install and uninstall at your leisure (provided there is no other form of DRM on the game -- which few Steam games have since they all use the Steam platform).

Nope, the game is just tied to your account, and you can download and play it whenever.
Got the first one. Thanks. :)
