150 points = 2 stars
450 points = 3 stars
1000 points = 4 stars
Beyond that, we don't know yet, no one has done it (so far).

At the moment, forum "cred" is all you get, but GOG did state that if anyone is able to achieve the maximum possible stars, they would give that person something cool. Of course, they haven't told us what the maximum possible stars will be...
