The game for it's time offered free-roaming environments, clever reactive AI, great voice acting, over 20hrs of gameplay and much more, it was simply stunning and still loved to this day. Fast forward to today and Fresh3D Inc hopes through Kickstarter funding to overhaul the graphics and new game play and releasing it as Outcast Reboot HD. Finally gamers, Outcast is back and better than ever!


Kickstarter Goal : $600,000
Systems : PC,Mac,Linux
Release Date : Oct 2015

Interesting! I just hope this time they won't choose an incredibly weird resolution like they used on the original Outcast! I wonder if the new one will be on GOG.

I'm glad it's a reboot before a sequel but hopefully it's successful enough to draw people in for a sequel too. I can't wait to play this in 1080p @ 60FPS.

Is this a reboot or a HD new edition?
They don't seem to add any content other than a major graphical overhaul. Some stretch goal is about changing animations and fixing lip sync and adding some side quest that never made it to the original release.
