So I got Skullgirls through a trade, and the person gave me a Skullgirls copy on Gamersgate. But I've been trying since yesterday and all it says is this

"Unfortunately, we are out of serial keys. The developers have been contacted and we will supply keys as soon as they are delivered to us. We apologize for the inconvenience. [2]"

Does anybody know how long they take to get new Steam keys? When will they cough up one? Thanks for your time.

They just released a new DLC character for skullgirls, so it's no wonder they're "out"
As for when they'll get more, no idea.

Don't worry. I have a GamersGate account for a couple of years now, and this usually happen during or after an unexpected big sale for a game. And recently, Skullgirls was on sale. You receive that message when there's no more keys to assign when you try it to unlock it. But that doesn't mean you won't get it. Usually it takes from 2 to 5 working days to GamersGate to get more keys and distribute them.

This already happened to me twice, and both times it took no more than 3 working days to get my keys. But since today is a celebrated day and we're close to a weekend, if not this Friday, the next possible day for you to receive it would be Monday. Just have a little more patience. If after 5 working days you haven't received your key, you can always contact GamersGate Support for any help.

I'm not familiar with Skullgirls or any promo, but I found this, about a free DLC for the next 3 months released this week:

Is that the promo you're refering to? Because if it is, I think 3 months is more than enough time... ^_^
