This freebie is good for the people who don't have it, especially with it being taken off gog soon :(

It breaks my heart a little to see the Fallout games leaving. They have always been among my favourite games of all time (especially 2). I hope lots of people claim these treasures of PC gaming history before they are gone. I thank GOG (even though I own all 3 classic Fallouts) for providing the opportunity for people who, for one reason or another, didn't have the games to this point the chance to acquire them. :)

Yeah, if Deadly Premonition does not show up on one of my gifts or a daily, i will get it before the sale ends anyways. It looks like a well game that fits my style.

I was surprised by my first gift, too. It was a game I already owned. But I think you could still gift it at the reduced cost, so it's not a bad thing. It's just a deal that probably won't be utilized by most people.
