Like Awolnation, my graphics card isn't so good, so it'd be best for me to sit this out and let someone who can run it now win it.
I read somewhere that the metacritic score for this is actually for the previous game and is incorrectly attributed to this one. The game is free to play for a week on Steam, and $1 during that time to buy outright so low risk to give it a whirl. I played the freebie last night and thought it was pretty fun.

have to say the guys i played with last night were the nicest bunch of people ive played with for a while!

OK. That's what I thought had read also. Actually, i thought I had read it was based on a pre-release version, but either way, based on a version that was not the current one.

Just to clear things up: The score is based on the original release. But since the game simply wasn't ready for prime time, the release was disastrous. The devs eventually remade/reworked all aspects of their game, but the long delay took a serious hit on the game's player base. The current sale event is basically an attempt to restore that player base, but the game is still stuck with the score of the mess that was its original release version.

Edit: I should probably specify I'm not in. Already have the game. :P

It's like Left4Dead, Killing Floor or Payday : it should be played multiplayer, but you can play alone offline without troubles.
