If he/she used the term "disk" they may have referred to your HDD. Since if they used "disc" that would refer to an actual DVD disc. I only state that, since you said they may have been referring to a "disk", and since I only see the small fragment you showed us, I can't determine otherwise.

carnival73: Either way they were unable to point the way even though they probaly knew it.
Can i ask you which DLC you were trying to track down on your HD ?
I thought EA's support was dead and buried a few months back once they made the fans the tech support/help/etc via the "Be A Hero" Answer HQ site?

doccarnby: About two months ago I registered my copy of Crysis on Origin, since the disc was scratched. For some reason, even though the disc version worked, the Origin version just would not work. Each .exe gave me a different issue, one just crashed, one told me to insert a disc... I contacted support. Seven hours later I'd restarted my computer several times, uninstalled an re-installed Crysis, uninstalled and re-downloaded the installer and re-installed, ran in compatability modes, as an administrator... they finally told me that they would send the problem to their higher-ups and they would contact me when they had an answer.

I haven't heard back from them.
Crysis is not compatible with Origin, at least not the versions sold through other distributors, even says so here:

https://help.ea.com/article/redeem-your-serial-code-in-origin

lots of EA games released before 2008 don't go into the system correctly (for whatever reason, I've got both BF 2142 and Crysis max-pack) but if you contact them directly they will manually add the games to your account: I would check back with them again if you really want to get at the disk free versions, that FAQ was updated 11/20/12 so it's probably more that they forgot to get back to you than that they didn't deal with the issues.
i am ashamed at the ea india customer support , i myself had a horrible time getting through with the bad communication with them.

all i can say is just ask to be redirected to a supervisor or any other support center, the indian one lacks all humanity , there are tons of examples of the bad experience .....
your paritcular support name has a good history of bad support or as we call bad communication they do wanna help i think ....

Yeah, I redeemed it by asking for them to add it. I went through the proper channels.

Dragon Age Ultimate - I'm trying to back the game up in its entirety in the instance that EA stops supporting the game and pulls its server.

I think the DLC is in Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Addins
you can download all the dlc installers separately from here and screw origin

No problem. The way Bioware's games handle DLC makes it a bit of a pain to do proper backups.

I hope that Bioware will release a final patch that will remove the authentication of the game/dlc before EA does its usual server nuke routine
