honorbuddy: Isn't Original War the one where they were having issues with the multiplayer? Something about a patch not being applied or such and one user kept posting about it and they were working to fix it. I believe this is the link.
i think the same developer was project igi2 which is gone.

Aliasalpha: Filthy joke ruiner!
I was sort of contemplating getting original war, of for no reason other than to see what was so original about it so with any luck the legal issues will be resolved soon and we'll get both OFP and OW back

well, one of the Original parts of this game is:
You only get so many people, and if they die, they stay dead, you cant train a endless supply.
second, Everyting happends in the past, Yes, they have traveled thru a Timemachine. so its World War ZERO. hehe.
Its a good game, now for me to finish the Second storyline, bloody timetrial archivement. (and ofcourse i have to get the archivements, even tough they are fluff). ;)

That's a late parrot reference, isn't it?

Yes it is. Dead parrot, actually, but yes. The Norwegian Blue, lovely plumage, innit?

It's not pining, it's passed on. This parrot is no more! It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late parrot. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn't nailed it to the perch it would be pushing up the daisies. It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-parrot.

You forgot about "its metabolic processes are only of interest to historians".

Well aren't you a pessimist.

It's not in the aired episode. I seem to recall the hollywood bowl version having an expanded rant

I remember seeing it in the original Flying Circus as seen on BBC America.

I started a new monty python references post to prevent the almighty Monty Python humour from overtaking this thread.

But it's already done so !! It's like a virus ...only more benevolent and fun.

Dead Parrot wasn't in Hollywood Bowl. You may be thinking of The Secret Policeman's Ball.
But I posted this 5 minutes before you made that thread!
Damn lack of python on DVD, I've not seen bowl for years, nor the films.
Maybe it was the ball or perhaps the german live special, fliegender zirkus or something similar
