MarshallEnd: you can get the fan patch from http://www.owsupport.com/
As far as I'm aware, GOG actually uses the patched up version from that very site. ;)
It's on my mental list of backlogged games to play soon after I finish Sacred (or get bored with it).

A shame the game has a fatal bug for multiplayer, else I would probably have played it with my friends (on computers I have at home) already during one of our LAN parties.

ZPavelZ: How am I not bumpy? I can shake my belly like a bowl full of jelly!
Also how do you know that Lone3wolf is actually from Sweden and his name is Mr. Bumpperssonn?
Given your bumpy arguments, I might give your bum another chance. But do bump it up this time!

So be it. Just to point out - I am not rich but at least I am not a bum. ;)

So the bump of today will be with this question - since OW is all about "new concept of RTS" how hard is it to master? Is it intuitive? You mentioned the learning curve is quite smooth but how about the first step? Does the game have a good tutorial? :)

Easy to learn, hard to master, because you need to find out all these little things. But you can pause it!

Well it is good that you can pause it. The question is - does that help? ;)

In-built wiki system? That is neat!

And tutorial messages (which you may or may not choose to open, they're optional) present you with every new aspect of gameplay and important piece of technology. Really, the game is very easy to grasp.

Edit: You know, it's not Dwarf Fortress :-P

Indeed. I also think that every regular here has seen it, so there's probably no point in continuing to do that :D

Well you could threat people like - "until I find 10 people proving here they bought the game I will not stop bumping this thread!!" :)

That is not a bad idea you know!
Remember how I used to bump this thread? I will do that again, just to show you!

Well, you sure showed me! Too bad I already bought the game. =P

One of my favs, and I typically don't even like RTSs anymore these days. That game speed slider in the general UI was an excellent design decision, as far as I'm concerned.
