Origin has achievements now, and the points they give you seem to be useful somehow. What exactly you get for them has yet to be revealed.

Only Dead Space 3 and Mass Effect 3 have achievements, from the games I own.

I own BF3 Premium Edition and Mass Effect 2, let me check if they've got this achievements thing.

So far, the only games with Achievements are:
Mass Effect 3
Battlefield 3
Dead Space 3

I've gotten a few, but no idea what the points will be used for, maybe something like what uPlay does?

Probably. The Uplay rewards are usually pretty stupid.

I have 900 Origin points though, someone give me a free game!

Hope I can get something useful from the achievements aswell.

In Uplay, it will give me Laser Dragon eyesight in FarCry 3: Blood Dragon...


Shoot lasers from your eyes, not just from the Killstar.

With uPlay, from all the achievements, there are about 4 that are called Actions. Completing these gets you points, which you can use to buy content for the game (an example is an in-game revolver for Far Cry 3)
