My friend is remodelling his music website and thought I'd see what any music fans might think. Once we iron out the bugs, we are looking to be adding gig reviews, revisiting old albums on older formats etc.

It was an old local Scottish website that use to get a lot of traffic for logging tour dates when a good band actually came up to Scotland and we hope to get it back up to standard.

http://demonszone.com/

So if you want to read some tasteless humour in random music reviews, keep track and let me know what you think. :)

(assuming someone actually looks of course)

Is it mainly focused on some generic metal garbage? (judging from the name "demonszone")

Depends what you consider generic metal. I don't think Shakira, Ian Anderson and Miley Cyrus hit that mark. You could just look at it.

I did and I mostly saw like Manowar, Judas Priest, Morbid Angel and whatever.

and missed Bad Company, Boston, Imelda May, Shakira, ZZ Top, Lana Del Ray, Free Spirit, Ian Anderson, Awolnation, Jack White and Def Leppard... all on the front page. That itself answers your question. The idea is to cover as much ground as possible and avoid that trap of only reviewing albums in the charts. Which involves Heavy metal... what is considered generic to you I have no idea. But if it's generic we tend to shit on it hard... ie Nirvana.
