Apparently this is a kind of engine port of Red Alert, the original C&C, and Dune 2000 (although the Dune 2000 part of it is still in beta). I just found out out it and the legal stuff seems to be in order otherwise it wouldn't be on Desura right? This seems too good to be true, even if C&C and C&C Red Alert are freeware, by the way you can download all the games I mentioned through the game so you don't have to track down downloads of the games and hope that they work. And I thought that Dune 2000 was in legal limbo? Anyway I wanted to know what you guys thought of it.

Why are you redirecting him to some topic about free games? He's perfectly entitled to create a new topic about OpenRA.

i don't forbid to do anything, i just pointed out there already a topic about free games , and OpenRA is already mentioned.

This isn't a duplicate thread. This is the only OpenRA thread on the forum. Do you really think every [free] game should only be discussed in that thread? On that logic we shouldn't even have a GOG forum, just have a single "Games" thread to discuss every possible topic about every game ever made.

I think it's downright rude when someone makes a thread about a game, to have the first post saying "NO YOU SHOULDN'T POST THIS, GO POST IN THIS OTHER THREAD!", stop trying to pretend you're a moderator or something, let people post whatever they want. If anything telling the poster to go post in the free games thread is nothing but off-topic spamming, you aren't talking about OpenRA after all.

Whoa, guys calm down no need to argue. DyNaer was just informing me that this was already mention in the free games thread. Even though my intention in creating this thread was to discuss OpenRA, my reply to DyNaer didn't mke this clear. And although I agree with Crosmando on the front that it isn't really a duplicate thread because the mention of it on the List of free games and third party mods was really just to mention it so we would know about it while I created this thread with the intention of discussing OpenRA, there is no need to argue.

I'm not threatening anyone, but I still think if someone makes a thread about a game, the first post shouldn't be just a message telling him to go somewhere else to talk about it. I understand you're trying to be helpful, but you should understand redirecting people to some other thread can be considered rude.
