The Olympics are here, finally.
Woot, Woot!

Opening ceremony are a to atletes IMO.
They have to stand in the cold for a few hours for a lot of ceremonial crap which is always the same.
Every olympics are the best, the cleanest, people of the city/country are happy to host it, etc.
If they would take it seriously
I never watch them.
Some sporters are already busy before the ceremony starts and some are still busy during the closing ceremony.
I'll be watching sport matches though.
Let the games begin.

The USA just entered the Stadium - Woot Woot
Really sad that there was a fatality already.
On behalf of all Canadians, we were just as confused and horrified by the presence of Bryan Adams as the rest of you are.

My son loves Brian Adams - He said "Is that the guy who sings the songs from Spirit" He loves that movie. ;-)

I wasn't even aware that Bryan Adams had done anything any time recently! :)
As a French, I was more horrified by the appearance of Garou than the one of B. Adams! ^_^

Not the gayest.
There's already the Gay Games, formerly known as Gay Olympics till the International Olympic Committee forced them to change their name.
